    Charming stay with great breakfast

    We had a wonderful time here! The owners were incredibly friendly and prepared a delightful breakfast for us. The room was comfortable and featured a nice warm shower. I definitely recommend staying here.

    Great stay near the beach

    I spent three nights here and loved the location, just a 5-minute stroll to the beach and near some excellent restaurants. The family who runs the place were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every morning, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast and had fun playing with their adorable dog!

    Convenient homestay near Mirrisa Beach

    This homestay is fairly simple but offers great access to Mirrisa Beach and several highly recommended restaurants nearby. Although there were some challenges in communication because of the language barrier, the hosts were friendly.

    Moldy Room Ruins Stay

    We reserved a two-night stay at this place but ended up leaving after just one night. We were given a private room for two, and the moment we opened the door, a terrible moldy odor hit us. It was really off-putting. Although I’ve traveled during rainy seasons before and can handle some smells, this was beyond what I could tolerate. We informed the owner that we couldn't stay in that room, and he showed us another one that was slightly better but still quite unpleasant. Ultimately, we chose to leave, even though it meant paying a cancellation fee for one night. The host family was very kind to us, but it was frustrating to still have to pay given the condition of the room. It was simply not usable. (I'm sharing this not to criticize the owner but to alert other potential guests.)

    Family Vibes with Great Sri Lankan Food

    Fantastic accommodations and friendly staff create a warm family atmosphere. The aunt serves delicious Sri Lankan delicacies; I even shared a photo of the coconut rice. You can book your stay through booking.com.

    Authentic homestay experience

    Staying here felt like a true homestay instead of a resort, allowing you to observe the family and their somewhat eccentric Labrador in their everyday life. My room was a spacious double, equipped with both air conditioning and a fan, plus an enormous bathroom.

    Wonderful Family Stay Experience

    The family who hosted us was the highlight of my trip. They were incredibly welcoming and friendly. During our 7-night stay, they went out of their way to provide us with a variety of breakfast options. The fresh fruit was delightful! We enjoyed a great shower and the location was perfect! We felt sad when it was time to leave. A big thank you to our kind hosts! 🤗❤️
