    Best Restaurant in Ahangama

    If you're on the hunt for the top restaurant in Ahangama, look no further than Kurundu. We initially went for sunset drinks, but we ended up staying for dinner because we didn’t want to leave. The rooftop atmosphere is stunning, the ocean views are breathtaking, and the cocktail selection is among the finest I've encountered on the south coast. I tried the Burned Oysters, which were absolutely amazing, along with the Seafood Spaghetti. Each dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. If you're seeking bars nearby in Ahangama, Kurundu is the place to go. The vibe, the music, and the staff — everything just meshes perfectly. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

    Stunning Views and Delicious Food

    As soon as we entered, the rooftop atmosphere created the ideal vibe. It was relaxed, stylish, and provided breathtaking views of the ocean. Each dish was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavor, with a perfect balance of spices. I highly recommend trying the Burned Oysters and Black Pepper Cinnamon Beef Fry. The service was friendly and attentive, with staff members going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. A big shoutout to Induwara and Aman for enhancing our experience even further. If you're seeking an unforgettable dining experience in Ahangama, this is definitely the spot—fantastic food paired with an amazing view. Best wishes to Kurundu!!

    Fantastic rooftop gem with great vibes

    The staff is wonderful and the food is excellent. This place is a hidden gem featuring rooftop views of the ocean. It's perfect for getting some work done in the afternoon, with plenty of outlets available for your devices, plus you can grab lunch too. They stay open late, making it an ideal spot to visit after a night out when the bars are closing. What’s not to love?

    Wonderful birthday dinner experience

    We dined at Kurundu for dinner and found the reservation process to be straightforward, leading to an overall fantastic experience. We truly enjoyed the food and drinks, which were delicious, along with the attentive service. As we were celebrating a birthday, the staff surprised us by bringing out a complimentary dessert with some chocolate, which was a lovely touch!

    This place truly deserves the title of "Best Restaurant in Ahangama!" After a long beach day, we decided to have dinner here, and it exceeded all our expectations. The atmosphere is simply breathtaking—serene, beautiful surroundings create the ideal setting for a relaxing evening. Every dish we tried was packed with authentic flavors and incredibly fresh.     Unforgettable Dining Experience at Kurundu

    Kurundu truly made my down-south vacation memorable. The vibe there is something else. You can feel the city's energy, yet the soothing ocean waves create a peaceful atmosphere that helps you unwind. Plus, it’s a fantastic spot for stargazing, which was a delightful surprise. Now, let’s talk about the food – it was outstanding. I can’t stop thinking about it. The Ceylon Tuna Carpaccio blew me away; the flavors were so well balanced that I honestly wished I could have ordered it again just to savor it longer. The Seafood Spaghetti was equally impressive, beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. Every dish we tried was fantastic. The flavors hit the mark, the presentation was neat and thoughtful, and what really stood out was how they infused a Sri Lankan twist into each dish and drink while maintaining their originality. The staff were incredibly friendly, enhancing the whole experience. The music was also spot on; the DJs played excellent house tracks that complemented the atmosphere perfectly. This is definitely a must-visit at least once.

    The staff here is incredible! They're super friendly and very attentive. You can really taste the quality of the food and that it's sourced well.
