    Beautiful ocean view and great service

    This boutique hotel stands out as one of our favorite stays in Sri Lanka. It offers a stunning ocean view, and the swimming pool overlooks the endless sea. We were so captivated by the place that we decided to extend our stay by an extra day, and Mr. Nihal kindly helped us with that. The restaurant features a wide selection of delicious dishes, along with some excellent cocktails. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality.

    Beautiful ocean views and friendly service

    This spot is truly a find! My wife and I visited during the off season, yet the staff ensured we were well taken care of, leaving no detail overlooked. Reasons we’ll return: 1. The scenery is stunning - the hotel sits right by the ocean, and you can hear the waves all day and night. 2. The rooms are stylish and very cozy - we stayed in the Melodies, which featured a delightful balcony with ocean views from every angle since it was a corner room. 3. The food is excellent - don’t miss the Sri Lankan breakfast. The fish curry and hoppers were fantastic. 4. The location is perfect - it’s away from the busy areas of Ahangama but close enough to Unawatuna for a genuine experience. 5. The staff is incredibly friendly, which added a lovely touch to our visit. Thanks to the OTP team for a memorable getaway.

    Charming hotel with great food

    The staff were friendly, and the food was fantastic. The rooms were quite comfortable as well. However, we noted that our room lacked a TV and toothbrushes. While there's a separate TV room outside, having one in the room would have been a nice touch. I also appreciated the hotel’s overall aesthetic and the rooms' unique designs that reflect the owl and cat theme. The designers clearly did an excellent job.

    Great Anniversary Stay

    We had a fantastic experience at Owl and Pussy Cat, especially since we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary. The team generously surprised us with a room upgrade, which meant a lot and enhanced our entire stay. From the moment we walked in, the staff was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive. Their genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home during our visit. We’re truly thankful for the thoughtful gesture and the outstanding service. It’s a place we would definitely recommend to friends and family, and we can’t wait to return in the future.

    This lovely hotel features spotless, beautifully decorated rooms in a picturesque location that feels wonderfully tranquil yet is just a short drive away from shops, restaurants, and the beach. The Sri Lankan breakfast was a standout, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, truly embodying the essence of Sri Lankan hospitality! During the off-season, the team generously offered early check-in and late check-out, which was greatly appreciated. We will certainly be returning for another stay.

    Charming Stay at Owl & The Pussycat

    My mother and I spent three nights at the Owl & The Pussycat, and we were truly impressed by this hotel. It's absolutely gorgeous—the decor throughout is stunning, making it possibly the best boutique hotel we've ever experienced. The location is fantastic, right by the coast, allowing us to wake up to the soothing sounds of the waves each morning. The rooms are quaintly decorated, and the beds are huge! On our first night, we were in one room, but the manager kindly upgraded us to a sea view room for the remaining two nights, which was a delightful surprise since we hadn't even asked for it! The staff really went above and beyond for us; everyone was so friendly, helpful, and warm. Breakfast at the hotel was nice, albeit a bit limited, but we didn't mind. We also enjoyed lunch one day and dinner another, both of which were delicious. My mother had an early flight, and the management prepared a packed breakfast/lunch for her, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It was a very special place to wrap up our trip together, and we would love to return someday.
