The place isn't quite as stylish as it appears in the photos, but it's definitely worth the price. The staff were very pleasant and attentive during our visit. We stayed in a family room, but be aware that the washroom doors are clear and don't lock, which could be a concern if you're with friends or family. Dinner was average, but the breakfast was really good.

Zen Koggala, formerly known as Moi Koggala, has recently changed its name and introduced new staff. The rooms are quite spacious, but honestly, the property is in dire need of significant renovations. The deck by the pool is damaged, and there are times when the bathroom water overflows. Additionally, some of the glass doors in the bathroom appear to be unsafe and on the verge of breaking. While the location is stunning and offers a relaxing atmosphere, it definitely requires considerable upkeep. On the whole, it's a decent place to stay. We opted for a room-only arrangement and did not dine at the hotel. The view was beautiful, and our overall stay was enjoyable. The ability to use the pool at any time was definitely a bonus.

What really made this place special for me was its soothing and calming atmosphere. The stunning lake view is perfect for enjoying both sunrise and sunset, and the pool area is quite nice too. They play some relaxing, Zen-like music by the pool that really enhances the overall vibe. The bedding was fresh and comfortable, which added to the experience. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly.

We had a fantastic experience at Zen Koggala Hotel during our office trip. The rooms were spotless and cozy, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The standout moment was the lovely boat ride on Koggala Lake, which included a visit to Madol Duwa — truly a serene and unforgettable experience! The location was ideal, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend it for both leisure and corporate trips. It was definitely a 5/5 stay!

We recently visited Zen Koggala, and the location is truly stunning. Situated near the lake, the views are breathtaking, creating a peaceful and tranquil setting that's ideal for unwinding. That said, the property could use better upkeep, and there's definitely room for enhancement in overall quality. Both the service and food need to be improved to match the beauty of the surroundings. With improved maintenance and better service, this place could be an incredible getaway.

We had an excellent time at ZEN Koggala. The ambiance is lovely, creating a great vibe. The team was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our visit even more delightful. A special shoutout to Manager Saliya, who was very attentive and made sure everything was just right. The food was fantastic and went beyond our expectations. We highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back!

I had a fantastic time at this hotel close to Koggala Lake. The vibe was serene and relaxing, with stunning views all around. Our family spent three nights at MOI Koggala in early July 24, booking a double and a twin room. The service was outstanding, and the rooms were both comfortable and clean. We did encounter a small problem with the AC in my daughters' room, but overall, it was a pleasant experience.

My stay at ZEN Koggala was absolutely delightful. This hotel is a true hidden treasure, perfectly situated by the lake, offering a serene and calming vibe. The Presidential Suite boasts one of the most stunning views, and the outdoor tub added an extra touch of relaxation to the experience. Waking up to such beautiful scenery was truly unforgettable. What enhanced my visit even more was the outstanding service. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, making it feel just like home. I want to extend a special thanks to Saliya, the manager, for being exceptional and ensuring everything was just right. There were also two lovely ladies (I apologize for not remembering their names) who were wonderfully kind and helpful. Additionally, I must mention Pawan. He was very attentive, smart, and always greeted us with a smile. His positive demeanor really made an impact. If given the opportunity, he could achieve great things. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would gladly come back. Thank you, ZEN Koggala, for such a memorable experience. ❤️

The AC in our original room type was out of order, so we opted for two double rooms instead. These rooms were quite spacious, and the balcony offered a fantastic view. The pool was well-maintained, and we had a lovely morning swim before checking out. :]
