    Hidden Gem with a Cozy Atmosphere

    This place is truly a GEM and serves as a perfect reminder not to judge a book by its cover. From the outside, it may appear dull, but believe me, it’s one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The owner is incredibly kind and polite, always attentive to our safety and needs. The accommodation is very clean, cozy, and spacious. If you’re looking for a hotel-like experience, this isn’t the spot for you. However, if you seek a place where you can feel at HOME, this is the best option. The surroundings are tranquil, with no disturbances from other rooms. Although it’s situated in a busy area, it maintains a peaceful atmosphere. Banks and restaurants are nearby, and catching a taxi takes just a minute. This is one of the best places you can find for the price. Highly recommended! <3

    Comfortable stay in a lovely setting

    The en-suite room was clean and well-maintained. It had all the amenities necessary for a pleasant stay. The property is surrounded by a beautiful garden. The host was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place!

    Great stay in Colombo!

    This has been the best place I've stayed in Colombo! It's a lovely spot at a fair price located in a very convenient area, run by a wonderfully kind lady. She was incredibly nice to me, even after I accidentally took the room keys with me to Kandy. I managed to send the keys back to her, though! Truly a gem of a place.

    Great stay with friendly staff

    I highly recommend this place to everyone. The facility has everything you need, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. It includes air conditioning, a washing machine, an iron, and a spot to hang laundry in the garden, which is very convenient. We truly appreciate everything the owners have provided for us. Thank you!

    Great stay at Mitrayu

    I had a fantastic experience at Mitrayu. The host, Nayani, was incredible, and the room's comfort, cleanliness, and facilities surpassed those of several star hotels in the city! I would certainly recommend this place to anyone.

    Comfortable stay with great value

    The room was spacious and had an attached bathroom. There was a small pantry area equipped with a kettle and fridge, plus facilities for ironing clothes. The owner was friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

    Comfortable stay with great access

    The five-star ratings come from our experience. We stayed for almost two weeks and had no issues whatsoever. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. This location offers easy access throughout Colombo; right outside the gate, you'll find a bus stand and a Tuk Tuk stand. Just 100 meters away is a Cargills supermarket, and only 20 meters away, there's a takeaway that serves authentic Sri Lankan food. The stay was cozy and environmentally friendly, equipped with a two-burner stove, heater, ironing board, and kettle—everything a traveler needs to enjoy their vacation.

    Beautiful and Relaxing Getaway

    Good morning, everyone! If I could, I would give this place 10 stars. The location is stunning and peaceful, making it an ideal spot to unwind. The rooms are immaculate and equipped with all the essentials for DIY, including a gas stove, refrigerator, washing machine, iron, and clothesline. Most importantly, the owners are always there to help with anything you need and do so with a smile... truly wonderful people. There's also a fantastic restaurant nearby, plus a supermarket for buying groceries to prepare meals at home. I highly recommend this lovely spot to everyone. Thanks again to the owners for everything; we’ll be back soon. Hugs!
