The staff here was incredibly attentive. I enjoyed the Italian cuisine, especially the penne arrabbiata. Our rooms were clean and conveniently located right by the beach. However, some of the fixtures could use an update.

The location is stunning, featuring a lovely, tranquil beach with sunbeds available. It's conveniently located within walking distance to Turtle Point. The staff here are incredibly helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is excellent, with lunch and dinner also being very good. The hotel can arrange a taxi to the airport, which is a nice touch. Although the rooms could use some updating, this is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to relax, unwind, and recharge in Dikwella. I highly recommend it.

I was quite let down by my time at Smeralda Beach Hotel in Dikwella. The rooms lacked comfort, and the bathroom had an unpleasant odor and wasn't cleaned properly. The food was unappetizing and fell short of what I had hoped for. Service was also lacking, with the staff's response being very disappointing. Overall, this experience was not enjoyable, and the hotel really needs to work on cleanliness, food quality, and customer service.

This charming boutique hotel is located directly on the stunning Dickwella Beach. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. The staff team was exceptional, ensuring we were well taken care of, and the food served at the restaurant was truly delightful 😋.

This hotel offers an incredible view. Lilanth, the supervisor, provided excellent suggestions and tips, making for one of the most unforgettable sunsets in Sri Lanka. The spacious washrooms are impeccably clean, and the pristine pool overlooking the private beach is fantastic. While the hotel shows some signs of wear, it doesn’t detract from the overall experience.

We stayed for a few nights and found the atmosphere to be incredibly relaxing and peaceful in a lush green setting, complete with a beautiful swimming pool. The location is ideal, and the beach view is stunning. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and stylishly comfortable. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. The food is excellent, all enjoyed in a cozy environment. We highly recommend this place. Thank you to everyone!

Although we didn’t stay at the hotel, we dined at the restaurant close to our villa on our first night in Dikwella. We chose it based on the reviews, its location, and the beach ambiance. Eating Italian in Sri Lanka felt a bit unusual, but the fresh seafood and stunning seaside view added a local touch. Dining on the beach with the sound of waves is truly special. We ordered the fried seafood and tuna, complemented by a lovely bottle of wine as a treat. The food was fresh and, typical of Sri Lankan style, there was plenty of it. We ended our meal with a shared panna cotta, which was all incredibly tasty. Our experience was enhanced by our wonderful waiter, Chamod, who provided excellent service and was enjoyable to chat with, sharing tips for our stay. His friendly demeanor embodied the warmth of Sri Lankan hospitality. All this came to about £50, which felt like a great deal. For a unique experience, I recommend visiting here to savor the food, setting, and friendly staff.
