    Great stay but electronic issues

This place was fantastic, featuring a functioning stove, fridge, and oven. It's an amazing spot for gathering with friends and family. Unfortunately, they didn't have enough outlets or an extension cord available for charging phones, which we really needed. They did provide one, but it didn't work, haha. Additionally, we asked for a rice cooker, but that also failed to operate. A suggestion for the owner: please address the electronic issues!

    Friendly staff, beautiful beach

The staff here are really friendly. The rooms are quite basic, reflecting a 'pure' Sri Lankan style. Don’t expect anything extraordinary, as the photos may give a better impression than the actual experience. There is a busy road separating the villa from the beach, but Dikwella beach itself is beautiful.

    Helpful staff and nice rooms

This is a fantastic spot! The host was incredibly accommodating and assisted us with everything we required. The rooms are lovely, although it's worth noting that some don't come with air conditioning. It's located just 1 kilometer from Hiriketiya Beach. I would definitely recommend it overall.

    Comfortable stay with great host

We spent over six weeks at Villa Fiorita in the ground floor apartment, which is perfectly located just a two-minute walk from Dikwella beach. Our time here was delightful, and Thilina, our host, was always on hand to assist us with anything we needed. Upon arrival, we noticed that some kitchen items were a bit worn, but after informing the landlord lady, she promptly arranged for replacements. The water pressure was excellent, we had hot water, and the flat was quite spacious. We worked remotely during our stay without any issues. The wifi, which is 4G, occasionally runs out, but if you let the owner or host know, they'll recharge it. There’s also a solid Dialog signal, allowing you to create a hotspot in the meantime. We would definitely return here in the future. Thanks to Thilina for making our stay enjoyable!

    Mixed experience at economy mini-hotel

Our initial booking was for a week, but thanks to the efficient customer support from a popular booking site, we managed to finalize it ahead of time. Here’s my feedback on some key points: - I was disappointed by the hotel's actual location, which was not where the coordinates indicated. Instead of being on a seaside promontory, it was located 1.5 km east of the specified address. I had to call the hotel representative on-site to confirm its location. - During check-in, construction on the 4th floor was underway, causing a lot of dust in the shared kitchen and on the stairs, as well as water leaking into the kitchen and corridor from above on our first night. - The booking description stated "WHOLE ACCOMMODATION," but in reality, it was just a standard room in a mini-hotel. The kitchen shown in the photos was actually a shared space accessible to all five rooms on our floor. Additionally, the hotel was misleadingly labeled as a Villa on the booking site, whereas it is more of an economy class mini-hotel. - One reason we chose to stay here was the positive reviews regarding the cleanliness of the premises. However, upon arrival, we discovered the room had very worn-out fittings, corroded taps, leaking shower hoses, a balcony door that didn’t close properly, and towels that smelled dirty. The entrance door also had a crack around the lock, indicating previous forceful attempts to open it.

    Charming stay near the beach

This lovely traditional structure is only a short stroll from the beach. We stayed in an air-conditioned room on the first floor that included a small fridge, access to the communal kitchen, and the option to use the washing machine. Overall, it’s a great deal for the price.

I highly advise against booking this hotel. Upon arrival, the place appeared filthy, with dirty rooms, unmade beds, and bathrooms that were flooded. Additionally, I was informed that payment could only be made in cash. This experience definitely didn't justify the price. I chose not to stay here.

    Charming and Comfortable Villa Stay

Fantastic villa! It's roomy, tidy, cozy, and has an Italian flair. The large rooms come with private bathrooms, some equipped with AC and mosquito nets. There’s a balcony offering a lovely view of palm trees and nearby homes. Sasanka is incredibly helpful, friendly, and discreet. Amazing…

    Great villa near Dickwella beach

I spent a long weekend here with four friends. The villa's location is ideal for easy access to Dickwella beach, which I liked more than Hiriketiya beach. It's also a short tuk-tuk ride to Turtle Point in Dickwella, which I highly recommend visiting. The room was very clean, with excellent and powerful air conditioning. There was ample storage for our clothes, and having plenty of English plug sockets was a great convenience. Our room featured a bath, which I think is better suited for couples. Unfortunately, the bathroom next door had quite a few cockroaches, which is why I couldn't give this place a full 5 stars. The WiFi in the villa was subpar. The lounge area was delightful, with incredibly comfortable sofas, and it was nice to have a communal space rather than staying in a hotel. I really appreciated the washing machine and the provided washing powder; it worked perfectly. The host was very flexible and allowed us a later checkout, which we were grateful for. Overall, I believe this villa is perfect for those looking to explore Hiriketiya and Dickwella, and I would gladly stay here again.

    Great stay in Sri Lanka!

Villa Fiorita was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka! The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, featuring a well-equipped kitchen and even a washing machine, which was a big plus for us travelers. The caretaker was very friendly. The location is ideal, just a short stroll from the beach, cafés, and restaurants, yet still peaceful and quiet. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and always available to assist. Excellent value for the money, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! 🌴🇱🇰
