The location is fantastic, and the food was really good as well (once it finally got to us!). However, the rooms were quite disappointing; the furniture felt old and worn, with doors that were hanging off. The linens were threadbare, and the bathroom had a sewage smell. Their solution to that was just to burn some incense…

This lovely resort is definitely worth a visit, and I would happily recommend it to friends! The pictures don’t quite capture its beauty—it's located on a stunning beach with lovely loungers and delicious food. Our room was spacious, clean, and featured a powerful hot shower along with good air conditioning. Initially, we were placed in a ground-floor room that had an unattractive balcony (it resembled a prison yard, which could use some improvement), but after one night, we were moved to the floor above, and it was a significant upgrade. The waves in Sri Lanka are quite large, so swimming in the sea is only suitable for confident swimmers. There are many beach bars in the vicinity, and a short tuk-tuk ride takes you to Hirketiya town.

This hotel offers fantastic value and has become one of our favorites, thanks to its prime location, serene and picturesque beaches, numerous nearby dining options, and outstanding service. The rooms are decent, but I recommend opting for a beachfront view if possible. There were some minor issues with the room, which is typical for this kind of hotel. The wifi is only available in public areas, so we relied on our own hotspot. The views are breathtaking, and the beach walks are truly enjoyable.

One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel bar. The bartender suggested a cocktail that turned out to be the tastiest I enjoyed throughout my trip in Sri Lanka 🍹. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, creating a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend giving the cocktails a try here!

We spent three nights here and wish we had booked a longer stay! The location and view were incredible, and the drinks and food available downstairs were reasonably priced. The staff were consistently helpful, and they even offer laundry services for a fee.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic 5-night stay at this hotel, extending our trip from the original 3 nights because we liked it so much. The service was warm, our room was spotless with a stunning view, and the food and drinks surpassed what you'd typically find at a hotel restaurant, all at a very fair price. The beach area was well-kept and peaceful, allowing us to spend plenty of time lounging and swimming. I would definitely choose to stay here again whenever I visit the Dickwella area.

The rooms are roomy and comfortable, providing a really relaxing experience. I definitely suggest opting for a beachfront room; it may be a little pricier, but the views and overall experience make it worthwhile. The bartenders and staff are super friendly, attentive, and always eager to assist—10/10 for service. Most importantly, the hotel is located in one of the prime spots on the beach, offering easy access to breathtaking scenery and a wonderful seaside vibe.

This spot is incredibly relaxed. It boasts one of the best locations on Dickwella Beach. The standout feature is undoubtedly the volleyball net, which always attracts players eager to join a game at sunset – a truly invaluable experience. There’s also a charming beach bar where you can sip on fantastic cocktails while soaking in the stunning view. Definitely worth checking out!

The rooms were decent but could use a bit more care. The light fixture was loose, a bulb was out, and there were no hangers in the closet. Additionally, the wifi was unreliable in the building nearest to the beach. Despite these issues, I would still recommend the hotel for its fantastic location, lovely beach, and excellent waves. The staff was very friendly, and the rates were quite reasonable. An added perk was the beach volleyball court, which drew players in the late afternoon, making for some enjoyable games followed by a refreshing swim in the ocean.
