    Consistently Great Food and Service

    We come here pretty often. The food and drinks are fantastic. The service is top-notch. While they seem to have lost some of the old staff, they’ve replaced them with a new, energetic team at the bar and among the servers. Vishwa is a familiar face, and Chamath and Nalidu (not completely sure about the name) are new but promising additions. Exciting new cocktails are coming soon, and I can’t wait to try them! The atmosphere could use some improvement, though. It's crucial to keep the floors clean, and the AC should be on during business hours, as leaving the doors open just lets in dust from the street. Overall, it’s a great value.

    Great spot for a lively night out

    A friend suggested Tunnel Lounge, so five of us decided to check it out, and it was an excellent decision! The atmosphere was vibrant with enjoyable music, the food was delicious and arrived quickly, and the staff were welcoming. You can bring your own bottle, but keep in mind that beer is off-limits since they have a pub. Overall, we had a fantastic time with friends!

    Peaceful Farewell Lunch Experience

    I visited this place for a farewell party, and it turned out to be really nice and tranquil. We had lunch on a weekday, and it was completely uncrowded. We ordered fried rice, noodles, nasi goreng, and nai miris kottu — everything was fantastic! We stuck with Coke since the other drinks were a bit on the expensive side. There’s some parking right in front of the shop, which was handy. The only drawback was that the road in front was pretty busy and lacked proper markings, making it a bit challenging to get there.

    Fantastic Night with Friends

    We had a fantastic Saturday night here with some local friends. The music was great, featuring modern local tunes instead of the usual 80’s guitar hits. The food was outstanding; we had to slow down after finishing our third serving of hot buttered cuttlefish. The wine was served at the perfect temperature. The atmosphere was a nice blend of various guests, making it comfortable yet sophisticated. We also explored the place and found a karaoke room, a function area, and a meeting room, plus some ongoing renovations on the ground floor and rooftop. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit.

    Fantastic spot for friends and food

    The service from the staff is outstanding. The food is delicious, and there's convenient parking available. It's situated at the center of Mount Laviniya junction, right next to HNB. There's an outdoor area for smoking as well. It’s a wonderful place to relax and chat with friends, plus they serve beer. The place is clean and well-kept.

The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, perfect for tranquil dinners and family gatherings. You genuinely feel comfortable and welcomed in this environment. The staff was skilled, friendly, and attentive, contributing to the excellent service. Overall, Tunnel Lodge offers a wonderful combination of great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and top-notch service. Highly recommended!

    Disappointing Chicken Experience

    I ordered the grilled chicken supreme, which was meant to include a herb-marinated grilled chicken breast. Instead, I was served a very stale roast chicken leg. At Rs. 2650, it just wasn't worth it. It was terrible, and I wouldn't recommend it.

    Hidden gem with excellent food

    The atmosphere was lovely and peaceful, and the food was both delicious and generously portioned. I tried the chicken popcorn, and the sauce was fantastic. Our server, Nadeeshan, provided outstanding service and was very helpful. I definitely plan to return to this hidden gem! 🫶🏽

    I had an amazing experience here! The food was incredibly delicious and bursting with flavor, and the service was equally impressive. Everyone was very friendly and attentive.
