We recently stayed at this place and would highly recommend it. It’s a new property featuring a fantastic pool and tidy, well-maintained rooms. The staff, Sharaz and Faizal, were very friendly. The location feels quite peaceful, almost removed from Colombo. Overall, it’s definitely worth the price; you won’t be disappointed.

The accommodations are lovely and roomy. It's just a short walk—under five minutes—to the beach and the lovely dining spots along the water. Faisal was incredibly kind and had a great sense of humor! He was also very respectful and genuinely cared about ensuring we had a good experience. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're seeking a relaxing getaway.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beach villa, and it was incredible. The location couldn't be better, just a short walk from the beach. There's also a pool that was clean and perfect for unwinding. The rooms are stunning, modern, and very cozy. Overall, the villa gives off a true 5-star vibe — tranquil, stylish, and absolutely worth every moment. I highly recommend it!

I spent one night here, and it was a nightmare. The owner put a large group of locals in the room next to mine, and they were loud all night long, drinking and smoking. I couldn’t get any sleep at all. I politely asked the owner several times to get his guests to quiet down, but it didn’t help. I ended up leaving in the early morning feeling completely worn out and exhausted. If you can spare a few extra dollars, I suggest finding a different place where the owner values his customers. This was my worst experience in Sri Lanka after 12 years of visiting.

The bathroom is in dire need of renovation and wasn’t cleaned properly: there was a dirty toilet seat, spiders, cobwebs, and moldy spots. I also found a hairball from previous guests on the floor in the room, along with stains on the walls, mirrors, and bed sheets. For USD 60 for one night, I expected better value; I’ve stayed at far nicer places like Coza Ceylon in Mount Lavinia for the same price. The photos and reviews looked promising, but we ended up regretting our decision. The room had terrible lighting—just bright white lights with no bedside lamp—and there was no extra wall plug for charging devices. To top it off, I couldn’t get the safe to work.

We spent two days at The Beach Villa and had a fantastic time. The room was spotless, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help when we required assistance. We also appreciated the swimming pool, which was well-kept and offered a soothing experience throughout our visit. In summary, the hotel provided superb service and a delightful atmosphere. Thanks to The Beach Villa for making our stay enjoyable. We would gladly recommend this hotel to others and look forward to returning.

After a natural disaster in the tea areas, we ended up spending two nights here on short notice before heading back to Colombo. Our room was a decent size, featuring a compact wet room bathroom. The swimming pool was also a good size. The hotel boasts a fantastic location, close to both the beach and the main shopping area. The staff truly deserves five stars for their service.
