This place offers good value for the price. It's conveniently located near the beach and restaurants, featuring a lovely garden and pool, along with plenty of common areas to relax. The bed was comfortable, and the room was decent, complete with a nice balcony.

We spent two weeks at The Villa in Levinia recovering from surgery. Bernie and Dale are wonderful and attentive hosts. The Villa itself is clean, peaceful, bright, airy, and well-equipped. We even got invited to celebrate Dale’s birthday with cake. It’s just a five-minute walk to the beach, and it was exactly what we needed. I would certainly stay there again.

We had a very disappointing experience at the villa. We had booked it for a day for a cousin's stay and clearly communicated to the hotel that we wanted pool access, drinks, and to have a small party. We even paid an advance of LKR 9,000 to secure the booking. However, when we arrived the next day, we were unexpectedly informed that pool access was denied, we couldn't use woofers or speakers, party activities were prohibited, and drinks were not allowed. These restrictions were never mentioned to us before we made the advance payment. The most frustrating aspect was the hotel's refusal to refund our advance, despite changing the terms and not delivering on what was promised. This lack of professionalism and misleading information was unacceptable. Customers should be made aware of all the rules and restrictions prior to any payment. We are extremely dissatisfied with the service and would not recommend this place due to their poor communication and unfair treatment.

The villa offers a cozy atmosphere with a wonderfully friendly staff. It's just a five-minute stroll to the beach and conveniently located near the main area of Mount Lavinia. As a sports fisherman, I appreciated the location, as I caught over a dozen giant trevallys nearby. For any fishing gear needs, "Tackle Box" is only five minutes away. The rooms are very clean, and while the pool is on the smaller side, it's adequate for relaxing. This place is great for couples or small groups. The breakfast is generous, featuring eggs, toast, and fruit. Given the price, you really can't beat it.

I really enjoyed my time at this place. The atmosphere is excellent, perfect for relaxing, reading, or playing indoor games. Plus, there's a swimming pool that's open 24/7. The staff were friendly too. I would definitely recommend this spot! It's also conveniently located near the beach, making it easy to explore the area on foot.

A big thank you to M. Tyrone and his team for their warm welcome. We really enjoyed our time there. The rooms were comfortable and reasonably priced, just a short walk from the beach and some good dining options. The guesthouse itself is spacious, featuring a lovely balcony and a small pool that was perfect for cooling off after sunbathing. We're looking forward to coming back.

I'm honestly taken aback that this hotel holds a 4-star rating. While my experience was satisfactory, it didn't quite reach greatness. The host and staff were very welcoming and professional, and the complimentary breakfast was enjoyable and well-presented. However, the rooms left much to be desired. The 'toilet kit' was particularly underwhelming, offering just a single bar of soap. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that there is no dining service available beyond breakfast. Although the hotel is within walking distance to Mount Lavinia Beach, the 'private beach' advertised on Agoda is quite misleading. On the bright side, the exterior and the surrounding area are serene and tranquil.

We stayed here for a night while passing through to Ella, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The hotel provided great value for what we paid, featuring cozy rooms and all we needed for a comfortable stay before our trip continued. The location was ideal, the staff were friendly, and the entire experience went beyond our expectations considering the price. We would surely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Colombo.
