I spent a week at the camp, and it was fantastic. The location couldn't be better, right next to the beach, and the instructors were incredibly supportive, helping us improve our surfing skills. A big shoutout to Baba for his encouragement and assistance during our stay. I would absolutely return!

I had a fantastic week at Elsewhere, learning to surf for the first time! The instructors were incredibly patient and attentive, ensuring we felt safe and comfortable throughout. The location is perfect, situated right across the street from the surf spot. On the first day, Lauren provided an excellent induction tour, clearly explaining everything and addressing all our questions. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a fun and social environment to learn surfing.

I had an incredible experience at Elsewhere Surf Camp! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming—big thanks to Scarlett, Morgan, Claudia, and Sarka for being such great social hosts and making our stay enjoyable! Our surf instructors, Baba, Primith, Maleesha, and Hirusha, were fantastic and really helped us beginners with our technique. The food was delicious and the rooms were quite nice. I would definitely recommend Elsewhere to anyone interested in learning how to surf, and I hope to return someday! 🫶

We spent 5 nights at this hostel and really wished we could have stayed even longer! Despite it being off season, the place was still quite lively, and the social hosts really made it enjoyable. A big thank you to Morgan, Claudia, Scarlett, and Sarka for their warm welcome and fun vibes—they really know how to throw a good time! Our surf instructors, Baba, Primith, Hirusha, and Maleesha, were fantastic. None of us had any prior surfing experience, but by the end of our 5 days, we were confidently riding our own waves. The breakfast choices were also delicious, and the family-style dinner each night was a wonderful opportunity to connect with others. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to surf, especially beginners, and I would love to return someday!

We really enjoyed our time at Elsewhere. The surf lessons in the mornings were fantastic, thanks to the wonderful instructors. We also had a blast during game nights and partying with Claudia, Morgan, Scarlett, and Sarka—they really know how to create a fun atmosphere! The food, accommodations, and available activities were outstanding. I highly recommend staying for at least 5 nights to fully experience all the amazing offerings!

I had an amazing experience at this hostel! Every night there was something fun planned, whether it was a rooftop party, a game night, or karaoke!! I had such a wonderful time. You should definitely check it out! The team is fantastic, and surfing is incredibly enjoyable with excellent instructors (shoutout to South African CALEM!!! Lakkaa mannn). 👅 We also tried aqua aerobics with Scarlett, and it was life-changing (I've found my new hobby, lol!).

This was my very first stay in a hostel and my debut in surfing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The surf lessons were fantastic, but what truly made this trip memorable were the people I encountered. I formed great friendships and created unforgettable memories. The atmosphere was friendly and social, making it easy to bond with other travelers. A big thank you to all the staff who took wonderful care of me during my stay. From the meals and lodging to organizing activities and assisting with my needs, they delivered everything you would anticipate from a top-notch hotel while maintaining the warm, inviting vibe of a hostel.
