Charming Family-Run Restaurant Experience

This tiny eatery is operated by a young couple. When we arrived, there were two other tables ahead of us, but no staff was in sight, so we chose a table, grabbed some menus, and waited. After a few minutes, a friendly server came to take our order for chicken curry and rice, along with two beers. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere felt very homey since you actually walk through their family house to reach the washroom. We even encountered their children studying on the way, and their daughter later showed me her writing. It was a delightful evening that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Delicious kottu and prawns

The kottu here is outstanding, ranking among the best I've tried out of about twenty places, and the jumbo prawns were fantastic as well. The prices are fair, and the warm Sinhalese hospitality adds to the experience. Even though it's close to the road, that won't deter me from returning.

Warm atmosphere and delicious food

This restaurant offers an outstanding dining experience. The owners made us feel incredibly welcome, almost like we were guests in their own home. The food was both tasty and comforting. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We enjoyed the Sri Lankan prawn curry, along with grilled tuna and shrimp. For dessert, we indulged in a delightful curd with honey and ice cream.

Delicious Home-Cooked Sri Lankan Delight
