I want to raise a concern regarding a staff member named Madara. I had a very unpleasant experience with her. My husband, our parents, and I have been loyal customers for years, and this is the first time I've encountered an issue at your establishment. When I requested the manager's number, she refused to provide it as well.

Visiting Wickramarachchi Opticians was my biggest mistake. Had I read the customer reviews beforehand, I would have never stepped foot in any of their locations. I truly regret it. I lost 100,000 Rupees along with my frame valued at 80,000 Rupees. The service was incredibly unprofessional. The staff was unresponsive, cunning, and seemed greedy for money. They displayed a careless attitude and were unreliable. Whenever there was an issue, they would offer excuses instead of taking responsibility. I found myself needing to chase them down for any follow-up on my requests. Promises made by them were never kept. Wasanthi, the woman in the white optician dress, was particularly cunning, while another lady, Madara, exhibited a guilty and indifferent demeanor. This reflects their lack of professionalism. When you bring up a problem, the staff looks at you as if you’re the one at fault, failing to see that the issue lies with them. It seems to be a well-planned tactic whenever a customer raises a concern. Issues will undoubtedly arise. They refuse to acknowledge their mistakes and instead shift the blame onto the customer. They are cunning and money-driven. If you encounter any problems after making a purchase, don’t expect a refund. Be cautious and think twice before entering any Wickramarachchi Opticians outlet. This was the worst experience I’ve had with an optician, and I would never recommend them to anyone.

I had a fantastic customer service experience at the Delkanda branch. In comparison to the Nugegoda branch, the staff at Delkanda were much more helpful and supportive. A special shoutout to Ms. Ruhunage for her outstanding service. She was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout the entire process. Thanks to her, I was able to get my spectacles in just one day, which I truly appreciate. Her prompt assistance and warm service made everything so much easier for me. Thank you for the wonderful service. Highly recommended!

I've always valued the service from Sewmini at Wickramarachchi. In fact, the outstanding experience I had during my first visit was why I kept coming back to the store. However, my latest visit was a blend of good and bad. After I bought my new glasses, I noticed a problem with the frame once the lenses were in. The left arm had a noticeable gap compared to the right and didn't sit correctly against my face, affecting the placement near my eyebrow. Trusting the service I had received, I hadn't examined the frame closely before taking it home. When I first raised my concern, I was told there was no defect. But since the issue was still apparent, I went back to the branch for a second opinion. Unfortunately, Sewmini wasn't there that day. When I approached the reception desk, I was let down by Shanika's response. Before properly looking at the glasses, she insisted that I was the cause of the issue and that it wasn't the store's fault. As someone who's worn glasses for many years, it was frustrating to have conclusions drawn without a careful inspection. The way this was communicated felt dismissive and rude. Fortunately, another team member, Nayani, stepped in to help. She listened to my concerns, checked the frame, acknowledged the difference in the shape of the two arms, and worked with the technician to resolve the problem professionally. Her readiness to assist turned a negative situation into a positive resolution. I believe customer service isn't just about fixing problems when things go right, but also about how issues are addressed when they arise. I hope more attention is given to properly listening to customer concerns and assessing them before making assumptions, especially at the reception.

The website states that the closing time is 7 PM, but the place shut down at 5:45 PM on Saturday. The security staff was quite rude as well. This isn’t an acceptable way to run a business. I missed out on a significant sale because of this.
