Room cleanliness needs improvement

I spent some time at this hotel, but I can’t recommend it. While the staff was friendly and helpful, the cleanliness of the room was not up to par. I encountered mosquitoes and cockroaches, which made my stay quite uncomfortable. The rate of 4950 for a double room with AC was fair, but the maintenance issues overshadowed any positives. If the hotel could enhance their cleaning practices and pest control, it might be a solid choice for budget travelers.

Great venue for events

We hosted a fun event here, and the venue is impressive with a large air-conditioned hall that can accommodate around 600 guests, plus ample parking space. They provided us with a fantastic menu featuring delicious food, and included complimentary DJ music and access to a spacious swimming pool. I was truly impressed with their service, which felt continuous and very friendly, along with unlimited snacks and beverages. Thank you, Far Inn Hotel! We wish you all the best in the future ❤️

Great spot for family dinners

This is one of the best and most tranquil restaurants for enjoying a nice dinner with family. If you’re looking to sip a drink and chat, their garden area offers a peaceful setting. I also noticed a large swimming pool and an expansive banquet hall. The customer service is friendly, and the food is delicious with a great level of heat and spice.

Disappointing Service, Average Experience

I was quite let down during my stay. To start, the overall cleanliness of the hotel area fell short of our expectations. The service was particularly disappointing. The staff seemed disorganized, and I had numerous unpleasant encounters. They struggled to take orders correctly and lacked knowledge about the menu; when I inquired about certain dishes, they often didn't have a clue. We received the wrong orders multiple times, and the glasses and plates weren't cleaned properly, with some glasses in poor condition. Even the manager seemed indifferent when we raised our concerns. On a brighter note, the pool area is a nice space for families, although the depth is only 5 feet. The halls struck me as average. Another positive aspect is the ample parking available. The food was also just average in taste, but the prices were reasonable considering the portion sizes and flavors.

Family-Friendly Spot with Room for Improvement

This is a great place for a family outing. We visited on a Saturday morning and found it not crowded at all. There are two pools available—one for kids and a spacious, safe adult pool that is under five feet deep. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the portions were generous at a reasonable price. On the downside, the changing rooms could use some attention—the washrooms had an unpleasant odor, and there were no towels or soap available. Overall, it's a nice place to unwind, but a few enhancements would make it even better.

This place is nice for lunch and relaxing in Chilaw. There’s ample parking available as well. The food is tasty, though the service leaves room for improvement.

Wonderful wedding experience!

We held our wedding at this hotel recently, and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end! The arrangements were beautifully executed, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They adhered to our menu preferences perfectly, which meant a lot to us. The banquet hall is large enough to comfortably fit up to 600 guests, making it ideal for a grand celebration like ours. As part of the wedding package, they also included two complimentary rooms, which was a nice touch. Overall, the management was outstanding and ensured that everything went off without a hitch. We had a truly unforgettable wedding, and we’re thrilled that we chose this hotel for our special day. Highly recommended!
