We spent one night here and were truly well taken care of. We enjoyed some beers with the owner on the balcony and were treated to fresh mangoes and excellent coffee for breakfast. The rooms are modern and peaceful, and if you're feeling hungry, there's home cooking happening, which smelled amazing even though we didn't try it.

The owner and his family are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are tidy and pleasant, with a fresh scent. The beds provide a comfortable sleep. The meals (both lunch and dinner) were incredibly tasty, freshly prepared, and there was far more food than we could finish.

The service here is excellent. The owner is truly remarkable, and the hospitality he offers is something you won't find in most hotels. A big thank you to Sudheep for being so caring, even giving us a wake-up call before sunrise. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay.

We spent 4 nights and 5 days at Hotel Athina in Chilaw for a work trip. Our room was clean and had a balcony, which was an ideal place to unwind with a drink in the evening. The rates were very reasonable, and the owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating during our time there. I highly recommend this place for a budget-friendly and comfortable stay in Chilaw!

We spent a couple of nights here and couldn't find anything to complain about. The owner and his wife were incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed tasty breakfasts and dinners prepared by his wife. Highly recommended.

My experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. The owner acted in an unprofessional and aggressive way, resembling a gangster, and clearly lacks the ability to communicate respectfully with customers. I stayed for just one night, and the service was poor from beginning to end. There was a noticeable absence of customer care, and basic hospitality standards were not upheld. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, so think carefully before making a reservation.

I’m really happy we chose to stay here! The rooms were cozy, but the real standout was the owner. He’s an amazing guy! We went to the fish market, enjoyed a fantastic breakfast together, and I picked up a few secrets of the universe. It was a truly unforgettable experience :)
