Great location, but poor service and food
The location is fantastic, but unfortunately, the food and service leave a lot to be desired. On a brighter note, the manager is quite flexible and provides good service. Regarding my previous message, I suggest you display your rules and regulations in a visible area. We were not asked to leave the premises, only to check out of our rooms, which we did before the specified time. Can you clarify when our check-in was supposed to happen? You stated it was at 2 PM, but we actually checked in after 3 PM. We discussed the meal plan with your cook early on and brought all the necessary ingredients as requested, but nothing was provided on time. It felt like your cook was unsure of what he was doing. We needed meals prepared promptly for our kids, but instead, we received reheated old food. One of our team members ended up cooking several dishes due to the poor quality of the food. It seemed like he was in charge of feeding the entire group. Additionally, the washroom facilities were subpar. The rooftop washroom had a persistent bad smell during our stay, and the water pressure was low, with no proper temperature balance in the other washrooms. We also found a lack of basic amenities like towels, heaters, and water bottles, which are typically provided by other hotels. We've stayed in other hotels that cost less and offered much better service. It's essential to prioritize customer service! If you're considering booking a hotel in Hatton, I would advise against staying at Hotel Daynish Rock Bangalow. Its only appeal seems to be its location and the two managers. While the location and view are highly praised, it's best to bring your own food and supplies to truly enjoy your stay.
