Exceptional Food and Hospitality

The food here was simply incredible and delicious! We found ourselves visiting this place nearly every day during our time in Haputale. The owner is an amazing host who goes above and beyond to meet your needs. We had a flight to catch and requested if he could open the restaurant a little early so we wouldn't miss it. Not only did he agree, but he also had our breakfast fully prepared when we got there! We thoroughly enjoyed the smoothies, frankies, sabjis, rotis, and the omelette. I can't recommend this place highly enough for the outstanding food and remarkable hospitality.

Great ambiance, room for service improvement

The restaurant provides a nice dining experience with a strong atmosphere and good food quality. If they could enhance service speed, ensure consistent food preparation, and manage the crowds better during busy times, it could truly become a top-notch dining spot. I'd definitely think about returning, particularly during less busy hours when the service should be more attentive and efficient.

Exceptional Dining Experience in Haputale

We enjoyed our first dinner so much that we returned the very next evening. The cuisine is sophisticated, perfectly balanced, and bursting with flavor—definitely the most unforgettable we’ve encountered anywhere in Sri Lanka. A delightful surprise was discovering one of the few spots in the area that serves white wine. And if Sydney offers you his coriander and mango mojito, don’t think twice—it was absolutely incredible and ranks among the best cocktails we've ever tasted. Meeting Sydney, the chef and owner, enhanced our experience even further. He kindly shared the stories behind his ingredients and cooking techniques, which made perfect sense after learning that he has trained in France, England, Dubai, and the Maldives. With fantastic food, a laid-back balcony atmosphere, salsa music, and truly warm hospitality, this is definitely the place we’ll return to if we find ourselves back in Haputale. Five stars from us.
