Spacious room with helpful owner
The room was quite large and decent! It even had a kettle. The bathroom was alright too. If you’re interested in breakfast, you can order it from the owner, who also assists with excursions. We took a tuk-tuk to Lipton Seat, which cost 3500 rupees, plus 550 rupees each for the entrance fee. The next day, we visited Horton Plains for 8000 rupees for the tuk-tuk and 11000 rupees per person for the entrance fee. The only drawback for us was the mattress—it was extremely hard. While others might not mind, I think it’s worth mentioning. The hotel is located about 600 meters from the train station, accessible via a steep road with a 50-meter drop.
