Tree Nature Resort is a true treasure in Sri Lanka. The natural surroundings are absolutely stunning, and the resort combines luxury with eco-friendliness. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tree Nature Resort!🥰 We stayed in the Big Tree Top House, which felt like living among the treetops. Our experience at this treehouse accommodation was deeply disappointing and, honestly, a health risk. We paid a high price anticipating a unique and cozy stay, but instead, we encountered a situation marked by dirt, neglect, and poor management. The most concerning issue was the complete absence of basic hygiene, including the presence of rodents. Finding rats in our room was completely unacceptable, especially given the cost of our stay. Moreover, the overall cleanliness was shocking. The room felt neglected, and the bathroom was visibly dirty and not properly cleaned. These conditions are not just upsetting; they pose serious health and safety threats to guests. In addition to the sanitation problems, the property experienced operational issues, such as frequent and unresolved power outages. Paying a significant amount only to face inconsistent electricity highlighted the lack of value provided here. This stay was clearly not worth the steep price we paid. The problems were further exacerbated by what can only be described as severely inadequate management. When we tried to voice our concerns, the staff—including the manager—was oblivious, unresponsive, and unhelpful. The manager seemed entirely unaware of the property's issues and was unable to address basic guest concerns in a professional manner. This place needs essential, structural improvements in hygiene, maintenance, and staff training. Until those changes are made, I strongly advise future travelers to steer clear of this accommodation. This was a thoroughly unpleasant experience and a total waste of money.

A special shoutout to Sinnayya, the elderly gentleman who looks after the guests—he was incredibly attentive and made sure our stay was impeccable. The highlight of our trip was definitely the breakfast. A lady at the hotel prepares the meals, and I can't express how delicious the food was. It exceeded all our expectations—truly top-notch! The management team was also exceptionally friendly, treating us more like friends than guests. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel right at home. This place is more than just a hotel; it’s an experience, truly a home away from home. I wholeheartedly recommend Tree Nature Resort to anyone seeking a tranquil and unforgettable stay.
