Outstanding service at Kethumathi Hotel

During our recent stay at Kethumathi Hotel, we accidentally left some money behind after checking out. The receptionist was exceptional; she called us multiple times to remind us and even safely deposited the money. We were truly impressed by her honesty, kindness, and sense of responsibility. It's not often that you encounter such sincere and thoughtful service these days. A big thank you to the Kethumathi Hotel team; we genuinely appreciate your integrity and hospitality!

Enjoyable buffet lunch experience

Today, we visited the Kethumathee hotel restaurant for lunch. The buffet was well-organized, and we tried the chicken dish, which was quite tasty. The service was also impressive; the staff handled everything efficiently. Being an air-conditioned restaurant, it offered a comfortable dining experience. There were numerous options available, such as rice and curry, fried rice, kottu, and biryani, along with snacks like rolls and buns. This restaurant is situated in Rathnapura New Town and also features a banquet hall and cozy rooms for guests.

Great breakfast buffet experience

We've enjoyed lunch at this spot multiple times, and they offer one of the best lunch buffets in town. This time, we tried their breakfast and found it to be pretty good as well. While the selection was somewhat limited, most dishes tasted great, with the exception of the Samabaru. However, they really need to enhance their service quality and improve the interior ambiance.

Great venue for special events

Kethumathi Banquet Hall is a lovely and well-organized location for hosting special occasions. The hall is spacious, tidy, and offers a welcoming atmosphere. The staff delivered excellent service throughout the event. A special shoutout to the Manager, Mr. Sameera, for his outstanding coordination and assistance. He was very supportive, professional, and ensured everything was set up seamlessly. This place comes highly recommended for weddings and other events.

Convenient training venue with friendly staff

Since April 2025, we've been using this place for our trainings and meetings. The service is good, and the staff is quite friendly. It's also very accessible. There are two types of rooms available: luxury rooms equipped with air conditioning, clean bathrooms, and comfy beds, as well as standard rooms with fans for larger pilgrimage groups. The food is just average, but they are willing to serve according to your needs.
