Spacious and Clean Guest House

This guest house is definitely in the 5-star range. The room I stayed in was quite large, measuring 200 square feet. The bathroom was spotless, and all the fixtures appeared to be brand new. The atmosphere was peaceful, with no mosquitoes around. It's conveniently located close to town and has easy access from the main road. Mr. Nava is a truly kind and spiritual person who will cater to your needs. His family is also supportive and provides tasty meals, and he happens to be an ACCA Accountant as well. I look forward to returning.

Great value guesthouse experience

This fantastic guesthouse is among the best value accommodations I found during my three-week motorbike trip across the country. It's tucked away on a quiet lane, away from the busy main road. Both the room and bathroom are modern, spacious, and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The owner and his wife, who reside on the ground floor, are very friendly and communicate well in English. They offer breakfast for a small additional charge. For meals, another solid choice is Sri Kishna Cafe, which is an 800-meter walk on the edge of the Lagoon. It's a tidy and affordable spot serving Tamil cuisine, and I enjoyed a delicious masala dosa there each morning.

Clean and Welcoming Stay

The rooms and bathrooms are exceptionally clean and well maintained. The shower cubicle appears almost brand new. It's a great spot for foreigners to stay. The dining area is well furnished with toasters, electric kettles, and a fridge, allowing for small meal preparations.

It offers eleven tastefully decorated air-conditioned rooms, each with a TV and all the necessary amenities, including attached bathrooms. The dining area is well-equipped with a four-burner electric cooker, microwave, and refrigerator. There's plenty of parking available, and the host is quite charming. It's located 1.4 kilometers from the Batticaloa railway station.
