Chill Vibes and Great Food

If you connect with their atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. It's likely the only venue in Gampaha that offers such a relaxed, artsy vibe. The food we tried was outstanding, and the owner really went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. Their VIP lounge is ideal for groups of 8–10, where you can catch Netflix, enjoy a pot of shisha, sing karaoke, or play PS5, all at a reasonable price. Huge thanks to the owner for making our first experience there a fantastic one!

Spooky Vibe with Mixed Experience

Every table features a QR menu, making it convenient since you don't have to wait for servers. We waited about 20 to 30 minutes for our food after ordering. The café has a very dark and spooky atmosphere. While the space isn't very large, it's manageable. Today, there were several power outages that caused the lights to flicker, and the A/C was not functioning well, making it uncomfortably hot and sweaty inside. The food was visually appealing and tasty, but I found the MSG a bit overwhelming. The Coke was nice, and although the mocktail was overly sweet, it was refreshing enough to overlook the sugariness. On the plus side, customer service was excellent; the staff was friendly and helpful. I noticed they have a small team, which likely contributes to the slower service, so patience is key. It seemed like a lot of high school couples and friends frequent this spot. They accept both online transfers and cash. If you're seeking a quiet place to hang out, this isn't it. However, if you're after a hippy, Halloween vibe, this café is definitely worth a visit. The music, though, wasn't great; it was quite loud, and I wish they had played some more laid-back tunes instead.

Terrible rice experience

I’ve never had rice this bad. It was thoroughly undercooked, with the grains actually raw. To top it off, it was so burnt that it resembled charcoal, completely covered in black soot. Serving food like this to paying customers is unacceptable. Please don’t treat your patrons this way! 🤢

Poor service and atmosphere

I had a letdown at this place. There were no staff around to take our orders, and we waited quite a while before receiving any help. The management seemed lacking as well. Numerous teenagers were acting out, which created an uncomfortable and unpleasant atmosphere. I think the staff needs to be more vigilant and manage the environment better to enhance the customer experience.

Chill Vibe with Some Delays

We visited this place for Sunday lunch and really enjoyed the atmosphere. It’s a laid-back spot perfect for spending quality time. The theme and decor were fantastic, as you can see from the pictures I shared. The warmth of the ambience was lovely. We ordered a package that cost around Rs. 3000, but the only downside was the waiting time. The main course took over 30 minutes to arrive, and we had to wait quite a bit. Our mojitos came out much sooner, and amusingly, we nearly finished them by the time the food was served 😂. We also tried the Mongolian rice. While it was a little dry and not very flavorful, it was still acceptable overall. Even with the delays and some minor food issues, I’d still recommend this place for its wonderful ambience and relaxing experience.

Great Atmosphere with Minor Flaws

I absolutely loved the vibe at this place. It has a tropical bohemian feel inspired by Reggae and Bob Marley, complete with a rustic jungle aesthetic. Although the lighting is quite dim, the decor is stunning with red and blue lights, natural wood accents, and dried plants, creating a cozy island ambiance that's earthy and tropical. I recommend coming here with friends or a partner if you enjoy this kind of atmosphere, but I don't think it's ideal for a family outing. Each table features a QR code for the menu, making it easy to browse and order directly. After we placed our order, we waited about 40 minutes for our food. We tried the Passion Mojito and Mongolian Rice. I enjoyed the drink, but it tasted like they used artificial passion fruit essence rather than fresh fruit. The Mongolian Rice was a bit dry and could have used more salt; I think it would be better if it were a bit saucier and more flavorful. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with an incredible vibe.
