Disappointing experience for women

I left this review because I want to warn the ladies considering joining the Powerworld gym in Nugegoda. While their prices are affordable, the environment is quite unpleasant, particularly for women. The instructors, starting with the manager, Kelum, do not treat girls appropriately. He only seems to support the girls he prefers. The other instructors also lack proper manners. This is a strong recommendation for women to reconsider before signing up for this gym.

Lack of Guidance at Power World Gym

For over six years, I've been attending the morning sessions at Power World Gym on High-Level Road, and I've noticed a significant issue: there isn't a proper instructor available to guide members. The training provided is inadequate, and there's no real assistance on how to perform exercises correctly. Additionally, they don't offer a proper meal plan either.

Weekend Gym Hours Needed

I recommend that the gym's hours be revised. A lot of members, myself included, are available on Saturdays and Sundays and would really appreciate the opportunity to access the gym on the weekends. Please think about opening on those days. Thank you!

Concerns About Staff Behavior at PowerWorld Gym

I am very troubled and let down by the atmosphere at PowerWorld Gym, particularly due to the actions of some staff members, including Kalum and Dawin. There have been occasions where their behavior towards female patrons has been inappropriate and uncomfortable. They sometimes touch female members while claiming to help, but if those members express discomfort or don't respond, they are subsequently ignored and not provided the support they need. This fosters an unfair and unsafe environment. Moreover, their conduct, which includes making jokes and the way they look at female members, makes many women feel uneasy and disrespected. Such behavior is unacceptable in a professional fitness setting. There have also been reports of conflicts involving staff, which further tarnishes the gym's management and discipline. In summary, this gym does not seem to be a safe or supportive environment for women. I strongly urge management to take prompt action to resolve these issues and create a respectful, safe, and professional space for all members.

Disappointing experience at PowerWorld Gym

I am very disappointed with my time at PowerWorld Gym located on High Level Road, Nugegoda. This is one of the worst gyms I’ve ever been to. My main concern is the conduct of certain staff members, particularly Kalum and Dawin. They seem to prioritize their personal clients over providing support to all gym members. Many individuals, including women and young boys, often feel overlooked. There have also been moments where their treatment of female members has been inappropriate and made them feel uncomfortable. This contributes to an unsafe and unwelcoming atmosphere for women. Moreover, the general demeanor of the staff is quite unprofessional, and there have been several conflicts involving them, which is a poor reflection on the gym’s management. In summary, this gym does not provide a safe or supportive environment for anyone. I cannot recommend it to anyone unless significant improvements are implemented.
