The atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting. The owner prepares all the dishes himself, and it's honestly the best food we've experienced in Sri Lanka to date. He even assisted us in catching our train on time, which was a really kind gesture. Absolutely a 10/10! :)

Sanjaya and his family made me feel incredibly welcome at their homestay, The Cozy Heaven, and at their family-run restaurant. The dinners were absolutely delightful - truly authentic homemade Sri Lankan dishes. My favorites were the curry and deviled chicken served with fried rice! If you're visiting Nuwara Eliya, make sure to stop by for some delicious local cuisine!

A truly cozy spot. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food was incredible. I tried the rice and curry, and it was fantastic. I highly recommend this place!!!

This restaurant is managed by the most delightful family. We'll always cherish this experience. The ambiance was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. The food provided us with an excellent glimpse into Sri Lankan cuisine. This is a place you absolutely cannot overlook.

During our summer vacation in Sri Lanka, my family of five from Switzerland enjoyed a wonderful evening at the "Why so Tasty" home restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service was very friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely incredible! I’d give it 6 stars if that were possible. This is the best food we’ve enjoyed in Sri Lanka - everything was so fresh and flavorful. We ordered the chicken curry and devilled chicken, finishing with curds and coconut honey for dessert. Every dish was fantastic, and we really appreciated the warmth of the host and his family.
