    Terrible salon experience with hygiene concerns

    This was the absolute worst salon experience I've ever had. I went in for a one-day hair straightening service and found myself seated between two mirrors, which made it impossible for me to see what was happening to my hair. Despite the salon being quite small, the music was blaring at an incredibly high volume right next to me. I was surrounded by 5-6 staff members who were all standing very close. Two girls were holding sections of my hair on either side, while one was ironing it, and I had no idea what the others were doing behind me. Everyone was shouting over the already deafening music, creating a chaotic and stressful atmosphere. The most alarming part was how roughly my hair was being treated. The girl straightening my hair was pulling it so forcefully that I experienced significant pain. My head naturally tilted to the side due to the tugging, and one of the other staff members even grabbed my chin to force my head back into place. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and powerless. When they asked if it hurt, I honestly said yes and expressed my worry that my hair would fall out since I could hear strands breaking. Instead of showing any concern, I was told they had to use that much force if I wanted it to stay straight for a day. At that moment, I completely froze. I wanted to leave, but I felt trapped. The entire ordeal was both physically and mentally draining. I left with a headache that lasted two days due to the constant pulling and the overwhelming noise. To top it off, shortly after leaving the salon, I found a live louse on my dress, which made me extremely worried about the salon’s hygiene standards. There was a lack of professionalism, no regard for customer comfort, and no respect for personal space. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone. A beauty service should never leave a customer feeling trapped, uncomfortable, in pain, and concerned about cleanliness.
