This is one of the largest pharmacies in Jaffna. I've been buying medicine and some grocery items here for many years at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and the service is quick.

He is very friendly, professional, and always goes out of his way to help customers. Whether he’s answering questions, handling orders, or providing quick support, his commitment really stands out. The pharmacy is well-stocked, efficient, and has a clean, inviting atmosphere. City Medical is the only family pharmacy in Jaffna with a rich history. In addition to medical supplies, they offer mother and baby products, groceries, cosmetics, as well as surgical and orthopedic items, making it a convenient one-stop shop for families. The staff is courteous and efficient, always friendly and helpful. The pharmacy itself is consistently tidy and well-kept. They have two branches in Jaffna and another in Chavakachcheri. I highly recommend this pharmacy to everyone!

This has to be one of the most exasperating medical experiences I've ever had. When someone is unwell and needs immediate assistance, the last thing they want is for the staff to move at a crawl. City Medical takes an eternity for even the most straightforward tasks, showing no sense of urgency and absolutely no regard for those who are obviously sick.
