I had a wonderful stay here for two nights in July. The cleanliness is top-notch, the food is incredible, and the owner along with the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant!

We were quite unhappy with our room and the hotel's location. Both the room and bathroom felt outdated, and there were no blankets provided. The walls were really thin, so we could hear noises from other rooms. The ceiling seemed like it might collapse at any moment! We decided to skip breakfast due to our concerns about eating there, especially since the hotel was right next to a cemetery. To top it off, the towels were stained and looked dirty. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Trincomalee! The rooms were spotless and well-kept, and the atmosphere felt calm and inviting. The owner was helpful, arranging our snorkeling trip to Pigeon Island and two enjoyable dives, which I highly recommend! The food was also outstanding—delicious and expertly prepared every time. I highly recommend this spot if you want a peaceful, clean stay with great meals and a wonderful location.

I had a wonderful time at Angels Beach in Trincomalee. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, showing that the place is well maintained. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating. We had an incredible stay and I highly recommend this place! After a terrible experience at another hotel, we arrived here last minute and they really came to our rescue. We were checked in and settled within just 30 minutes. The hotel is right on the beach, only about 50 meters from our room to the sand. The entire establishment is very clean, cozy, and inviting. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly, and the staff consistently provided kind and attentive service. They were quick to address any of our needs without hesitation. During our visit, they even arranged a fantastic whale and dolphin watching trip with snorkeling, which turned out to be one of the best experiences of our holiday. On the day we checked out, they generously allowed us to keep the room for the entire day since our bus wasn't until 6 PM, without any hassle. We felt genuinely taken care of during our stay. Our stay here was the low point of our three-week trip. The rooms did not match the photos at all. They lacked windows and had no hot water, despite the presence of heaters that were broken. When we raised our concerns, the owner questioned our need for hot water, suggesting it was only necessary for small children and that it was warm outside. The private bathrooms were particularly unappealing, with no ceramic tiles on the walls or floors, making us hesitant to touch anything. One of the towels we received looked so old and worn that it appeared dirty, even though it wasn't actually so. We had booked three rooms, including one triple, but were given three double rooms without windows. When we asked to leave and offered to pay for an extra night as compensation, the owner reacted aggressively, calling us names and demanding payment for two extra nights instead. We ended up paying, eager to escape. This experience was a stark contrast to the kindness and fairness we encountered throughout Sri Lanka. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. On a positive note, the location is good, right on the beach, though it's secluded and far from the busier areas with a variety of nice restaurants and activities. The only dining option nearby is the owner's restaurant on the beach, which we didn’t try, but the loud music and uninviting atmosphere made me reluctant to take the risk.
