Our time here was the best part of our first few days in Sri Lanka. It’s an ideal stop between Sigiriya and Kandy. The owner is incredibly nice and attentive, plus the local food is absolutely delicious!

We spent a night to visit the waterfalls close to Matale, and it turned out to be the perfect spot. The rooms were cozy and the air conditioning was effective. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner prepared by his wife, which was among the best local curries I've had in Sri Lanka. The following day, he took us on a tour of the waterfalls in his 4x4 truck, which was an incredible experience and very reasonably priced.
