    Avoid Brookside Nature Resort Wattegama

    I strongly recommend that travelers steer clear of Brookside Nature Resort Wattegama. I had booked two triple rooms for April 12th, confirmed the reservation via phone in advance, and made an upfront payment. When we arrived, the management refused to give us our rooms, stating they had no record of our booking. It turns out their online reservations are handled by a different travel company, leading to significant communication issues between the two. To top it off, the contact number listed on Google Maps connects you to that travel company instead of the hotel directly. Although the travel company assured me they would fully refund my advance payment on the day of the incident, I have yet to see my money returned. This experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing. Do yourself a favor and choose another place to stay.
