    Comfortable Stay at Lion Resort

    I stayed at Lion Resort for two days. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The food was enjoyable, and the staff was very helpful. I highly recommend this place.

    Great stay in Polonnaruwa

    This place in Polonnaruwa is fantastic. The Sri Lankan food is delicious, and the rooms are clean and comfortable, catering to different budgets. The swimming pool is also well-maintained and safe. It's situated in a secure area. I regret not taking any photos of the resort. When I return to Polonnaruwa, I will definitely choose to stay here again.

    Great Family Holiday Experience

    We had a wonderful holiday with the family. The family rooms were lovely, featuring three large double beds, ample space, and a decent-sized bathroom. It was air-conditioned and very reasonably priced. The swimming pool was well-maintained, and the staff were friendly. Plus, it was conveniently located near our favorite spots.

    Comfortable stay with great service

    This hotel was quite nice. The spacious room had a comfy bed and was kept clean. It's a bit distant from the city center, though. The staff were friendly and welcomed us with juice while we enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was standard, featuring eggs, sausage, and juice. I would definitely return and recommend this place.

    Mixed feelings about the stay

    The owner expressed his concerns about a lack of customers while we noticed cobwebs in our room. We were also provided with just two towels for our triple room initially, and after asking for a third, he gave us a small facial towel instead.

    Great family stay with nice amenities

    The room was clean and spacious enough for our needs. The air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. The pool was well-kept and clean. The owner was very welcoming and offered us food, which we enjoyed. I highly recommend this place for families, as there’s plenty of parking available on the property.

    I recently had a stay at Lion Resort and wanted to share my thoughts. My experience had its highs and lows, but given the price we paid, it was a fair choice. Here’s a breakdown of what I found: Positives: Rooms: The rooms exceeded my expectations considering the cost. They were clean and comfortable, creating a nice atmosphere for relaxation. Air Conditioning: The air conditioning worked flawlessly, keeping the space cool and comfortable throughout our stay. Swimming Pool: The pool was well-kept, and the filters seemed to function properly. It offered a refreshing escape from the heat. Breakfast: We appreciated the breakfast that the resort provided. Bathroom Hygiene: The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, meeting basic hygiene standards. Negatives: Lack of View: One letdown was the lack of any scenic view. The resort is surrounded by many buildings, which limits the chance to enjoy beautiful landscapes or nature. Limited Staff: It was noticeable that the owner was handling everything themselves, with no additional staff to assist. This led to delays and some challenges in getting help. Service Charge on Final Bill: Another confusing point was the 10% service charge included in the final bill. It felt unnecessary and raised questions about its rationale. Overall, despite these issues, Lion Resort remains a reasonably priced accommodation option. If management can address the concerns mentioned, it could significantly improve the guest experience.

    Comfortable stay with great hospitality

    The accommodations are tidy and roomy, featuring effective air conditioning and hot water. The pool is kept in excellent condition, and the owner’s welcoming nature made us feel right at home. However, we noticed that bed sheets were missing. This place is perfect for families, offering ample parking space.
