We had a great time at this well-liked full-service hotel in Kataragama. The tranquil environment, along with stunning views of the nearby hills, contributed to a very relaxing experience. It serves as a perfect starting point for discovering the cultural attractions nearby.

I would say the hotel experience was just average. My room was not cleaned well, showing surface stains and marks. Additionally, the bathroom had a stale urine smell, and the wash basin's overflow was quite dirty. While the restaurant staff did their best, the pool attendant stood out as very helpful. The hotel has the potential to be great if it improved its cleaning standards.

I asked for towels three times but never received any. The shower had no hot water, and the air conditioning wasn't functioning. Fortunately, there was a ceiling fan to help out. There were numerous flies in the room, plus insects and frogs outside. The food experience was hit or miss; it wasn't served hot. Overall, the place really needs a significant upgrade.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, and the pool area is impressive, complete with underwater music! The breakfast was excellent, featuring the best omelettes I've had in Sri Lanka, and there was a broad range of choices for dinner. The hotel even organized an extra dawn safari for us. I would definitely choose to stay here again.
