Situated by the sea, the hotel is a bit removed from the village, which we found to be a big plus for enjoying tranquility. We loved the sustainable practices of the hotel. Our room, featuring an outdoor shower, was ideal, and the pool added to the overall experience.

Our experience at Ravana Garden Hotel in Sri Lanka was delightful. The chef prepared incredible, authentic Sri Lankan dishes that were bursting with flavor and skillfully presented. During our stay, we enjoyed 5-7 course meals, and the barbecue dinner by candlelight was a highlight. Malindi provided outstanding service, ensuring we were comfortable throughout our visit. The entire team was exceptional—friendly and attentive—which made us feel right at home. We also loved the presence of two friendly dogs, Kalu and Manike, who added to the charm during our evening beach stroll. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking delicious, healthy food paired with welcoming hospitality.

From the moment we checked in, our experience was delightful. The reception team was there to warmly welcome us, complete with a traditional lamp lighting, an incredible welcome drink, and even a photo turned into a souvenir. I’ve never felt so welcomed at a resort before. The food was outstanding, featuring vegetables grown on the hotel grounds. There were no MSG or artificial ingredients, and the homemade tamarind sauce was truly remarkable. I must highlight how well they managed a tough situation. My daughter was feeling unwell upon our arrival, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us. They prepared porridge and soup for her, bringing everything to our room. The resident manager even drove us to the nearest doctor, insisting that I focus on my child rather than navigating. He followed up later to see how she was doing. Due to my child's illness, we couldn’t fully immerse ourselves in the Ravana Garden experience. However, we’ve already decided to return soon once everything is settled. In summary, this is the best hospitality we have ever encountered. From the manager to the reception, kitchen, serving staff, and room service, everyone was exceptional. Typically, Sri Lankans may tire of keeping a friendly demeanor, but that wasn’t the case here. That was the cherry on top. 10 out of 10. We will definitely come back. Lastly, the route shown on the map is accurate. Although the last stretch is a narrow road by a paddy field, it is safe and easily navigable by car without issues.
