We booked this bungalow-style hotel room at the last minute while traveling to Galle. The location was decent, the room was acceptable, and the price was affordable. Unfortunately, I ended up getting bitten by a bed bug.

The service left much to be desired. It felt like there were some outsiders using the space even though it was completely booked for our event. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.

Amawin Resort stands out as the top destination in Hambantota. It's conveniently located close to the bird park and Ridiyagama Safari, and they provide excellent service.

I had a delightful stay. The price was reasonable, and the rooms were clean, complete with a TV and access to a pool. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

A great spot for a one-night stay. It's easily accessible since it's near the main road, and there's parking available. Keep in mind that there’s no food service, so you’ll have to grab food elsewhere. The service was excellent, and the room was spotless.

We spent a night at Amawin resort, which was great because it's near Hambantota, Kalametiya, Bundala, and Yala—locations we wanted to explore. The rates were reasonable, and the place was tidy and cozy.

My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. The service left much to be desired, as the staff did not offer helpful support when we needed assistance. It felt like they had little interest in addressing guest concerns. The atmosphere was also not as calm or relaxing as I had hoped. There was constant noise, making the environment feel far from peaceful. Moreover, their services seemed poorly organized and unplanned, which made our stay uncomfortable and stressful. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel unless they make serious improvements to their service quality, organization, and customer support.

This hotel offers budget-friendly accommodations ideal for a one-night visit. If you're on a field trip and need a place to stay, this is a great option. The rooms are cozy, and the bathrooms are well-maintained. The owner and staff are very accommodating. For meals, you can head to Ruhunu Resort, which is approximately 750 meters away.

I spent one night in Hambantota as a solo traveler and was truly impressed by Dinesh and the service he provided. The room was basic yet spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. The guesthouse also features a lovely pool! Dinesh really went out of his way to ensure I felt comfortable and safe, especially since I was the only guest at the time. I needed a ride to the Shangri-La, and since finding a tuk-tuk was tough, he kindly offered to take me on his motorbike and even picked me up later that evening. It was a public holiday, so most shops were closed, but he managed to find breakfast for me and left it outside my room. He was a wonderful host and felt like a friend! We had engaging conversations and shared our life stories, which made my stay even better. I was looking for budget-friendly accommodation for one night, and given what I paid, I didn't have high expectations. However, the service was outstanding, making it a fantastic value for money! My friends who spent a lot more at the Shangri-La didn’t enjoy the same wholesome experience that I did, so I’m really pleased with my stay at Amawin :)
