Quiet stay with great food
I spent two nights at Attale, and I really valued its peaceful location, even though it feels a bit remote—this was actually part of my reason for choosing it. The room was nice and clean, equipped with air conditioning, though I wish the mattress had been more comfortable. The traditional meals for dinner, lunch, and breakfast were excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring I had a pleasant experience. A family friend even took me on a motorbike tour around the countryside to see some wildlife, which was really awesome! The WiFi worked well, and it’s easy to set up tours to Yala and Bundala through Attale. The place is simple to locate. Overall, it’s definitely a great value for the money.
