Located in a quaint town with few relaxation spots, Happy Beach offers beautiful rooms that provide sea views, complete with outdoor chairs for peaceful moments. There's also a spacious gazebo equipped with tables and chairs, perfect for socializing with friends.

We spent three nights in April in the beach hut instead of the rooms since we were trying to save money. The food was exceptional, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the location couldn't have been better. It was just a quick 5-10 minute stroll into town.

We visited Hambantota during the off-season, so the area was quite tranquil. Upon arriving at the main bus station, we encountered a very friendly man who guided us to the Happy Beach hotel. The hotel is situated right on the beach, making it a lovely spot to unwind.

This bungalow is situated a ten-minute walk down peaceful streets from town. The bungalows are located right on a long, untouched stretch of beach—just stunning! The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our breakfasts at a private table on the sand. The owner also prepared a delicious dinner of fresh fish and salad on the barbecue right outside our bungalow. This place is so beautifully enchanting and reasonably priced that we couldn’t believe we stumbled upon such a gem. Highly recommended!

I recently had a wonderful stay at Happy Beach Hotel! The hotel's location is stunning, right on the beach with gorgeous ocean views. The staff were exceptionally friendly and did everything they could to make my visit enjoyable. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. I also liked the thoughtful extras like daily replenishment of fresh towels and toiletries. The hotel offered a nice variety of facilities, including a swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. One of the highlights was the hotel's beachfront position, allowing me to step right out of my room and onto the sand. The beach was well-kept and clean, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for guests. All in all, I had a fantastic experience at Happy Beach Hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing beach getaway.

This spot was one of our favorites in Sri Lanka. The beach is stunning, and the sunsets were breathtaking. The owner prepared a fantastic dinner that we really enjoyed! It has a more laid-back vibe compared to the four-star hotels we stayed in. The rooms were good for relaxing and sleeping, but we had to bring insect repellent with us, as it was needed here too.

This hotel is ideally located if you're seeking a peaceful spot with the soothing sound of the ocean. However, the cleanliness of the rooms leaves something to be desired. The owner makes an excellent breakfast, and dinner is also delightful. He cooks fantastic fish dishes, true to Sri Lankan style. Thank you 🇱🇰

This is a fantastic place to stay, and the host continually improves the accommodations, making it even better. It's a perfect location by the sea where you can relish nature and the tranquility, accompanied by genuine and warm hospitality. The host prepares tasty meals and is always ready to assist, while also allowing you the space to enjoy your visit. Make your reservation soon before it gets fully booked! I was a guest who happily took an unexpected detour to Hambantota and was pleasantly surprised. Hambantota isn't touristy at all, so if you're looking to escape the crowds found along the coast or inland, I highly suggest this spot.
