Our visit to Jaffna was truly unforgettable, thanks to Daniel, who is an excellent host. We enjoyed the Jaffna crab curry, lemon prawns, chicken curry, and sambals, all of which were fantastic—extremely fresh and perfectly spiced. Additionally, it was a meaningful experience to hear Daniel share his family's stories about living and growing up during the war in Jaffna. We highly recommend this place!

Although our trip isn't finished yet, we already know it will be one of our best experiences. Sri Lanka may not be the most affordable destination, but the experience is truly worthwhile! We enjoyed a fantastic evening with Daniel, who is a fascinating, warm, and friendly person with a great taste in music 😉 The food is just as remarkable as the chef who prepares it! What can we say about Daniel and Tiki Jaffna? It was definitely the highlight of our two-week trip in Sri Lanka. Be sure to contact Daniel at least 24 hours in advance, as he sources all his ingredients fresh from the market. The food was truly delicious, and the hospitality was top-notch. We spent hours chatting with Daniel and would have loved to return if we had more time. Thank you, Daniel, for such an incredible experience! :))

It's best to book a reservation a day ahead. Daniel uses exceptionally fresh and high-quality ingredients that let us enjoy authentic Jaffna cuisine! In his backyard, you can observe him cooking, relish the food, listen to music, and have conversations. It was a genuinely memorable experience in Jaffna!

Throughout the night, he shared captivating stories, creating a conversation that felt natural and inviting. What really impressed us was his warmth—he even invited us back the following day to enjoy the leftovers at no extra charge. Sadly, we had other commitments and couldn't return, but we truly appreciated the generous offer. We genuinely feel like we made a real friend in Jaffna.
