We visited last week and spent three days there. The service was prompt, and the location is excellent. Our only concern was that the hygiene could use some improvement, particularly in cleaning and room services. Aside from that, we would definitely return. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel. It's conveniently situated just about a 5-minute taxi ride from the railway station, making travel effortless. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive during my entire stay. A special mention goes to Miss Jenny and Mr. Saman – their kindness and professionalism really stood out and made a positive impact on my experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort and genuine hospitality in the center of Jaffna city!

We really enjoyed our time at Hotel Subhas. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and the staff were not only helpful but also very friendly! It's conveniently located right in the center of town, making it easy to get around quickly. I would recommend it to anyone and look forward to visiting again.

This was my first visit to Subhas Hotel, the oldest hotel in Jaffna, established in 1970, if I recall correctly. While the building and decor show their age, the staff works hard to maintain cleanliness. The location is fantastic—right in the center of Jaffna, with everything from fast food and hospitals to fashion stores like No Limit and Nadiyas, as well as Cargills, all within walking distance. What truly stands out is the staff. They are fantastic and go out of their way to accommodate your needs (within reason, of course). Having stayed at nearly all the other hotels, including Jetwing, I can confidently say that I’ll only be coming back to Subhas Hotel from now on. One more thing to note is that the food is great, even though the selection isn't extensive.

I've stayed at this hotel during most of my work trips, and it's always been top-notch. The rooms are impeccably clean, and maintenance is consistently well handled. However, what really distinguishes this place is the food—it's absolutely delicious and brimming with authentic Tamil flavors. That's the primary reason I keep returning to this hotel! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy genuine Tamil cuisine. It's definitely worth a visit!

Our experience at Hotel Subhas in Jaffna was fantastic. The manager and staff were exceedingly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home right from our arrival. The hotel's location is quite convenient, just a short walk from the railway station. As one of the oldest hotels in Jaffna, it offers a cozy and charming atmosphere that truly enhanced our stay and helped us create wonderful memories. Breakfast was excellent, with the staff always eager to assist us with whatever we needed. We also ordered lunch and dinner at the hotel, and the food was enjoyable with reasonable prices. One of the standout features of the hotel is its prime location—everything in Jaffna town is within walking distance. The front desk staff spoke fluent Sinhala, which was very helpful for arranging tuk-tuks and other transportation. Overall, we highly recommend Hotel Subhas to anyone planning to visit Jaffna.

This hotel is situated right in the heart of Jaffna town, making it super easy to get around. From the time we checked in until our departure, the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The receptionist, whose name I didn’t catch, was particularly helpful, while Saman stood out for his excellent service during both dinner and breakfast—always cheerful and attentive. I loved the breakfast buffet; it was tasty and beautifully arranged. The only drawback was the bathroom, as the shower head didn't function properly and could use some improvement. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable stay.
