    Great stay with friendly hosts

    We spent four days here and had a fantastic experience. The place is new and spotless, with spacious rooms that come equipped with all the necessary amenities. Traveling as a group of six, we managed to reserve three rooms along with a living area, pantry, and a separate washroom, all at a very reasonable price. The hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Plus, all three meals were offered at very affordable rates. The location is excellent as well.

    Spacious Rooms for Families

    There are a few positives worth mentioning, like the presence of two double beds in the rooms, which provided plenty of space for a family. Overall, the room and bathroom were quite clean, though there were cobwebs on the upper walls and ceiling. Hot water was available…

    Comfortable stay with a few minor issues

    We spent 3 nights in early February 2024 with my family, which includes 3 elders. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, which was the highlight of our stay. The air conditioning worked really well, and the two large beds were quiet, making it easy for a family of 3 kids to share. The rates were particularly reasonable. However, the refrigerator and kettle were located in the lobby, which was a bit inconvenient. It would be better if a kettle could be provided in the room upon request. The manager, Mr. Gowsiken, was very accommodating. Overall, it’s a good place to stay. We ate outside the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food. The TV was fine too. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return on our next visit.

    Pleasant stay with great food

    We spent two nights at Amis Hotel last weekend. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms were clean and well-organized. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch there, and the food was quite good, especially the Chicken Kurma made with traditional Jaffna spices.

    Friendly service and great experience

    The restaurant was fantastic. Mr. Kawshi was exceptionally welcoming and offered us a ground floor table because my mum couldn't manage the stairs. Overall, the service was wonderful.

    Great stay at Amis Hotel

    During our time at Amis Hotel & Restaurant, we had a very positive experience. The room was tidy and cozy, plus the owner was incredibly welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with anything we required, which made our visit smooth and enjoyable. We even opted to stay an extra day because it was so convenient for exploring Jaffna. This is definitely a fantastic place to stay while visiting!
