    Charming beach hotel experience

    I had a fantastic time at Hotel Sea Trails 🙂🔥. This owner-operated beach hotel has around 10 rooms. The food was great, and the service was friendly. You'll find an unforgettable sunset here. As we were leaving, the lady owner prepared a simple tea with pol cake (coconut cake), which was to die for and such a thoughtful gesture. I encourage everyone to visit and support local, owner-run establishments for a more enriching experience 💯🙂. Overall, it was a very good experience, and the host's attention to detail was impressive as well..

    Disappointing Experience, Poor Value

    This restaurant fell short of expectations and didn't offer good value. The food servings were quite small given the prices. We tried the English Breakfast, which consisted of just four slices of bread, a simple omelet, and a small piece of fruit. For dinner, we ordered a platter that was surprisingly small and overpriced. The tea was not good, and the restroom needed cleaning. To top it off, there was a lack of privacy at the pool and in the rooms. In summary, it was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend it.

    Disappointing Experience Overall

    The room was just average and didn't justify the price we paid. I found hair on the towel they provided, and the bathroom was not cleaned or maintained properly. After using the toilet, I had to wait a bit because the water supply was interrupted. The small pool was decent, but it also seemed unclean and lacked privacy. Dinner and breakfast were disappointing as they were overpriced and not worth the money. It might be a good idea to hire better kitchen staff who can actually cook. Additionally, the parking situation needs improvement. I don't plan to return here again.

The location is simply incredible—right by the sea with stunning views from both the room and the balcony. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the sunset from the window was absolutely enchanting. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged with all the essentials for a cozy stay. The meals were another highlight! Each dish was tasty, fresh, and bursting with authentic flavor. The variety and quality of the food significantly enhanced the overall experience. In summary, this hotel provides a fantastic blend of comfort, excellent service, and natural beauty. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a tranquil retreat, a romantic escape, or a family vacation by the sea. I can’t wait to return soon!

    Wonderful stay with exceptional food

    We had a fantastic experience at this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing, high-quality getaway. The rooms were immaculate, well-kept, and provided a breathtaking beach view that made each morning feel special. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and that stunning landscape was truly memorable. One of the standout aspects of my stay was definitely the food. Both breakfast and dinner were remarkable. Plus, every morning, a parrot would come by to greet us and ask for snacks, which was incredibly sweet! The location is unbeatable, with easy beach access. However, what truly made our experience memorable was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel at home right from our arrival. The owner is a very kind lady with a big heart. In summary, a fantastic hotel with excellent service, outstanding food, and a perfect location. We will certainly return on our next visit!

    Fantastic hotel with great service

    This hotel was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka! The location is superb, featuring a pristine pool, tidy rooms, and stunning views of the beach. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming during our visit. We only stayed for one night due to an early 7 a.m. flight. While we missed breakfast, the thoughtful lady at the front desk arranged a delightful beach dinner for us, complete with drinks. It was a memorable and considerate gesture that truly enhanced our brief stay.
