During our trip to Sri Lanka, we stayed at four hotels, and Villa Thamburu was the standout. The hotel grounds were stunning, and the staff provided top-notch service. Don't miss out on the homemade yogurt ice cream; it's absolutely delicious.

Throughout our three-week journey in Sri Lanka, we can confidently say that Villa Thamburu stands out as the finest boutique hotel we encountered. The meticulous attention to detail, the level of cleanliness, and the warmth of the entire hotel staff truly impressed us.

This boutique hotel is set in a tranquil beach location. The staff across the hotel are both helpful and efficient, but I especially want to highlight the reception and restaurant teams for their outstanding kindness and attentiveness during our stay. The meals at both breakfast and dinner consistently met a high standard, being both delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was delightful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, offering ample storage for clothes, luggage, and toiletries. The common areas were well arranged, featuring elegant sitting and dining spaces with lovely views of the gardens and the sea. I highly recommend this place!

This place is wonderful. The staff is outstanding, from the men in the restaurant and bar to room service, as well as the pool attendants and security. They are all so kind, helpful, and welcoming, deserving every bit of praise. A special shoutout to the chef for the tasty food. The staff really creates a memorable atmosphere that we will cherish. This place is truly amazing. The hotel itself is breathtaking, and the rooms are elegantly decorated. The gardens and pool are fantastic, and the beach is beautiful and peaceful, not crowded at all. The service at the hotel is outstanding; all the staff were wonderful and extremely professional. Breakfast was fantastic, and every meal we had at the hotel was tasty and fresh. Nice touches like complimentary king coconuts by the pool and free tea and snacks in the afternoon enhanced the overall great experience. Although I don't typically choose this type of accommodation, I would certainly come back to Villa Thamburu and highly recommend it to others.

We had a delightful time at Villa Thamburu! It's the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. The property is brand new and stunning. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is fantastic, particularly the Sri Lankan curry dishes. We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit!

For individuals who appreciate good design, sophistication, and tranquility, this place delivers exactly what you need. We enjoyed a luxurious environment, exceptional service, and a cozy ambiance. While the Villa is situated near the road, the noise didn’t interfere with our experience. The restaurant offers outstanding dishes. The whole property is impeccably clean and beautifully arranged, showcasing a keen attention to detail—from the layout to the overall experience and the lasting memories. This was our second visit, and it was well worth it. The garden is stunning and well-kept, and there's a nice path leading to the beach. The pool has crystal clear water and there are plenty of sunbeds available, both on the sand and on the lawn. We stayed in the Hani Suite, and I can confidently say it was one of the best-designed rooms we've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I highly recommend this place!

We had a few activities in mind for the area, but it was so delightful lounging under the trees on the beach, waiting for morning coconuts and afternoon tea, that we ended up just relaxing instead.
