Disappointing Stay Despite Good Reviews
We accidentally booked this hotel on Booking.com, and since it didn't offer free cancellation, we didn't worry too much because of the positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience turned out to be quite negative. Initially, we were given a damp room that had a terrible smell. The sheets were stained and covered in hair. The mosquito net above the bed was infested with mosquitoes and had stains from previous guests. We requested a room change and had to pay extra for a slightly better one, but it was still not clean. In the new room, the shower kept clogging, the hot water was inconsistent, and the shower gel dispenser was out of order. We decided not to mention these issues since we were only there for two nights and didn't want to create more trouble. It seemed like the trash can hadn’t been emptied since we checked in, and they don’t clean the rooms during your stay. To summarize, cleanliness is nearly nonexistent throughout the property. On the brighter side, the air conditioning worked well, the staff was always eager to assist, and the breakfast was decent. However, the overall value for money is quite poor. The price is high for what you receive. We cannot recommend this hotel.
