This charming little spot made us feel very welcome, thanks to Dudley and his team. Each morning began with a delicious breakfast featuring savory dishes prepared by the owner and sweet options from the bakery. I enjoyed unwinding by the pool, surrounded by nature, before or after (or even both) participating in various local activities. Although the restaurant was under construction, they hosted a fantastic BBQ, and there were plenty of other nice dining options nearby. We did encounter a few minor issues, but they were quickly resolved, and we truly appreciated the attentive care we received during our three-night stay.

Dudley Nature Resort offers a serene and quiet environment, beautifully set among lush trees. It's conveniently located near the town center and Minnerya National Park. Dudley, along with his son and wife, were excellent hosts, ensuring our visit was enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was tasty; we particularly loved the fantastic BBQ dinner by the pool, and breakfast was consistently good.

We spent a couple of days in the tree house and really enjoyed our time there. The host was fantastic, going above and beyond to help us and suggesting some great places to explore. However, there was quite a bit of construction going on, which made it noisy and left the area pretty muddy. Aside from that, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d consider returning once the construction is finished!

We had a fantastic time at Dudley Nature Resort in Habarana! The setting is ideal — tranquil, surrounded by vibrant greenery, and just a brief drive from Minneriya and Kaudulla for elephant safaris. The owner was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to assist us with everything — his heartfelt hospitality made us feel like part of the family. The rooms were cozy with effective air conditioning, the pool area is inviting, and the garden is well-kept. Breakfast was delicious with great local choices. We would definitely recommend this spot, especially if you seek a laid-back, nature-oriented experience with attentive service.

We had a fantastic time at Dudleys. The accommodations matched our expectations for the price, but everything else exceeded them. The breakfast was outstanding, especially while dining next to the pool and gardens, immersed in nature with birds, butterflies, dragonflies, squirrels, and even a few monkeys on our last morning—it felt magical. Dudley is quite the character and can help arrange drivers, tours, and safaris at reasonable rates. If the BBQ is available during your visit, definitely go for it; it’s tasty and a great deal. We can’t wait to return!

Our group of three had a fantastic time at Dudley Nature Resort. We opted for the tree house with the half board package, and it truly surpassed our expectations. The food was consistently excellent—fresh, tasty, and served in generous portions. Located near Pidurangala, it was very convenient for sightseeing. The pool was clean and a perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring. A big thank you to Mr. Dudley and his team for their exceptional customer service; they were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a tranquil and comfortable getaway in the area!
