It's not often that a hotel truly reflects its name, even if it has a creative twist. I have no complaints about this hotel; in fact, I extended my stay from 2 nights to 4 just to enjoy the serene views of the rice fields from my balcony on the 3rd floor.

During our two-night stay in Anuradhapura, we found the rooms pleasant and the bathroom straightforward. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They serve home-cooked meals featuring typical local dishes, and the views are beautiful, especially when the rice paddies are lush. Overall, it's a great value for what you get. Thank you!

I was taken aback during my recent visit when I was informed that Indians tend to complain a lot, which is why we weren't given a room! They claimed that a previous group of mine had pointed out their issues, and now it seems any complaints will just be ignored. On a positive note, the location and views are fantastic, but unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. So, think carefully before deciding to stay here.

I've seldom encountered such a friendly and welcoming team as the one here. This family-owned establishment, run by all family members, made our visit truly memorable. They even prepared lunch for us on the spot when we arrived, and it was fantastic! On our last day, when we wanted to explore the town but our tuk-tuk didn't show up, the family patriarch generously offered to drive us himself. He initially refused payment for the ride, and we had to insist quite a bit for him to finally accept. This was genuinely a one-of-a-kind experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

This is a fantastic place to stay, offering stunning views of the rice fields. We visited during a cyclone, and the family was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout our stay. The food was tasty as well. I highly recommend this spot.

Tucked away in a peaceful village just a 4-5 minute detour from the main highway, this place is incredibly quiet, featuring spacious rooms and bathrooms. Though the decor is simple, everything is impeccably clean and comes with all the necessary amenities, except for a television in the rooms.

We had an amazing stay at this family-run hotel with our group of four. The owners treated us like family and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Our rooms were tidy and comfortable, and the homemade meals by the owner's wife were both delicious and authentic. During the intense rains and flooding in Sri Lanka, they kept us informed, offered great advice, and the owner even drove us to Colombo in his own car when the roads were blocked. Their kindness was exceptional! Highly recommended, and we will definitely return. ❤️

We got there before the check-in time but enjoyed a pot of tea while they got our room ready, which was fantastic. Our room, located on the top floor, offered balcony views of the paddy fields and was both clean and straightforward. Plus, there are multi-country sockets available, making it convenient for charging devices.

We spent 3 nights at Heaven Upon Rice Fields in February and loved every moment. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, particularly Nish, who arranged all our transportation for sightseeing in Anuradhapura and Mihintale, along with airport pickups and transfers to our next stop. We ended up having all our breakfasts and dinners here due to the convenience and the delicious meals. Each meal was unique, allowing us to sample a range of Sri Lankan dishes, and they even fulfilled our request to try fish curry one night. If you're seeking a friendly, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay, don't hesitate to make a reservation! Our time here was one of the highlights of our trip, and we look forward to returning in the future!
