I had an excellent time at Hotel Kamrel. The food and drinks were tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. The management and staff, especially Mr. Shakthi, were professional, polite, and very attentive. It’s a fantastic spot for quality dining and superb hospitality.

Everything was satisfactory. The rooms, including the bathrooms, were clean. The staff members were friendly and accommodating. However, I found the dinner buffet lacking. There were only two meat options: a fried fish dish and butter chicken. I believe more meat dishes would have enhanced the experience. The other choices weren't particularly remarkable either. The soup was just a vegetable soup, but it was good. On the brighter side, the breakfast buffet was much better than dinner, featuring a nice spread that was all quite tasty.

This small, tranquil hotel is surrounded by plenty of trees and boasts a lovely layout. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The manager takes the time to engage with each guest at the restaurant, ensuring everyone feels valued. The pool was well-maintained, and we really enjoyed the dinner buffet too. Overall, it's a fantastic value for the price.

From the moment I reached out to the checkout process, the service was exceptional. The team offers booking options tailored to your needs and communicates effectively. You can easily get in touch with them through the number listed on Google, and they promptly share all booking details via WhatsApp, which is super convenient. The meal plans vary based on the number of guests present, providing either a buffet or a set menu for lunch and dinner, with both choices being excellent. Breakfast is served buffet-style, featuring delicious traditional country dishes. Regardless of the meal—breakfast, lunch, or dinner—the food was consistently flavorful and well-prepared. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-kept. You have the option of double rooms or interconnected family double rooms, depending on what you need. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. A huge shoutout to the management and team for their outstanding service and quality food, which easily rivals any 5-star hotel in the vicinity. I had an amazing experience during my stay. The staff members are incredibly friendly. Special thanks to Mr. Shakthi, the restaurant manager, who answered all our questions, whether it was about finding a barber, figuring out local bus routes, or making reservations. Their level of care and attention is truly heartwarming. My friend isn't a fan of spicy food, and they went out of their way to prepare dishes for her without any spice. The hotel itself is impeccably clean, from the lawns to the pool, bathrooms, and rooms. With both A/C and a fan, you have options for staying cool. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my time there. Thank you to all the staff.

I had a wonderful time with friends at this fantastic hotel set in a beautiful landscape, complete with excellent staff, food, and accommodations. The hotel team was exceptionally kind and welcoming, always ready to assist with anything during our stay and helped us arrange trips and transportation to and from the hotel as needed. The location is quite good, about 25 minutes from Sigiriya and Lion Rock, yet it's incredibly calming and peaceful where the hotel is situated. It's easy to access tourist attractions and nature parks for safaris—there's even a chance to spot an elephant nearby! The hospitality and food were impressive, and the pool was spotless, maintained daily by attentive staff who take great pride in the hotel. I'm eager to return and would definitely recommend it!

I had a wonderful time here, with clean and spacious rooms creating a resort-like vibe. The services were commendable, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. They offered a variety of delicious vegetarian options. I especially want to mention the manager, Sakthi Vel, who was very attentive to the guests, along with the rest of the friendly staff. This charming hotel, situated conveniently on one of the main roads, has a cozy, woodsy feel. I arrived before the official check-in time, and they were quick to accommodate me. The room was a good size, although I had upgraded, so I can't comment on the smaller rooms.

The management deserves commendation for upholding such excellent service standards. I’d rate it a solid 10/10. The food was tasty and featured a broad selection, although some dishes could use a bit less oil. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. The hotel serves as a tranquil retreat despite its location. With clean rooms, a lovely pool, and beautiful greenery, it's an ideal spot to relax. The natural ambiance truly enhances the visit. Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves, and we’re already looking forward to coming back soon!

On April 25th and 26th, 2026, our office team and their families spent time at Hotel Kamrel, and I must say it was one of the most enjoyable hospitality experiences we've had. The staff were incredibly friendly and always eager to help with any requests. Their positive demeanor, especially from General Manager Mr. Maya and Operations Manager Mr. Shakthi, was greatly appreciated. I would confidently rate the service a perfect 10/10. Most of the food was excellent and well-prepared. The only feedback I received was that a few dishes felt a bit oily for some of our colleagues. Overall, I would rate the food an 8.5/10. Even though the property is situated right next to the main road, you instantly feel a sense of peace and tranquility once you pass through the gates. The rooms are well-kept, the pool is clean, and the lush greenery contributes to a relaxing vibe. The sounds of cicadas added a nice natural element to the experience. I would rate the property a 9/10. Our group is typically hard to impress, so it's quite something that everyone truly enjoyed their stay. In fact, many of us are already planning to return for a two-night visit soon. Overall rating: 9/10.
