    Relaxing Nature Getaway

    We had a wonderful two-night stay at this hotel. Nestled in nature, it provided the ideal setting to unwind and escape the city's hustle. A highlight of our visit was the village tour arranged by the hotel, where we rode in carts through the stunning countryside—such a fantastic experience. In the evenings, we savored barbecue nights filled with delicious food and a laid-back atmosphere. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, always eager to assist us with anything we required. Without a doubt, the pool was the best feature of our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone in search of a peaceful retreat in nature.

    I recently had a great stay at Pavona Hotel in Sigiriya with some friends, and it truly was a memorable experience. One of the best parts was the newly constructed swimming pool. It's not just large but also very well-kept, offering a refreshing retreat in a peaceful setting. The rooms were also quite impressive—spacious, cozy, and well-maintained, which made for a restful visit. The meals and drinks were another highlight. Every dish was tasty, with a broad range of choices to satisfy every palate. Whether you’re a culinary enthusiast or just in search of a good meal, you won't be let down. The surrounding lush greenery further contributed to the serene atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. They were always ready to help, whether we needed a music band or special outdoor setups, all with a warm smile. In conclusion, Pavona Hotel provides an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sigiriya. We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to come back!

    Great food and friendly service

    We visited this place two days ago, and it was fantastic—peaceful and environmentally friendly. The food was tasty and worth the price. I especially want to highlight their customer service, which was friendly and very helpful. Thanks, Mr. Ruwan, for everything. Highly recommend!!!

    Great privacy with tasty food

    Pavona Lake offers a tranquil retreat for those seeking solitude. The swimming pool is well-maintained, and the food is delicious. The staff is welcoming, and there aren’t many bothersome rules to contend with. Just a note: the area is secured with electric fences due to the presence of wild elephants. It's advisable to leave before dark to steer clear of any encounters with elephants on the road. Should you find yourself in a bind, the staff is very helpful and ready to assist!

    Misleading Reviews, Poor Hygiene

    This was among the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. Don't believe the online reviews or photos—they're very misleading. The bathrooms and kitchen were filthy, and overall cleanliness was lacking. The room looked nothing like the pictures and felt neglected and uncomfortable. It really makes me doubt the credibility of the positive reviews here. I would strongly recommend steering clear of this place unless significant improvements are made. I'll be sharing photos as evidence.

    Great experience in a unique setting

    I had a really enjoyable time here. The manager (I apologize for not catching the name!) was incredibly accommodating with all the logistics, including some spontaneous last-minute arrangements! The tree house is amazing; it feels private, and you can watch both the sunset and sunrise from your bed while hearing elephants nearby.

    Pavona Lake is an excellent spot for a group looking to relax and unwind. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service was top-notch. The food was also enjoyable and met our expectations. Situated near a forest, the property offers a serene, jungle-like atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. Although the place could use a bit more upkeep, it didn’t significantly affect our stay. A special shoutout to Sandaru, who made us feel particularly welcomed during our time there. All in all, we were quite pleased with our experience.
