Cottage is a solid choice. The location is convenient, the service is commendable, and the owner is friendly. Breakfast here is quite enjoyable and I would definitely recommend it. However, they don’t have a pick-me app, so it’s best to ask the owner to help find a driver for a fair price.

We had an excellent experience staying with Chathuri and her family. The place includes three houses, with more being built, but you wouldn't notice it. Chathuri helped us arrange drivers at reasonable prices, and we enjoyed an amazing safari with her husband. Every morning, breakfast was outstanding and perfectly timed with our plans. There was a nice variety each day, including different juices and breads. Her brother manages the Downtown restaurant, which we also highly recommend, although he wasn't present during our visit; her father, whom we recognized from the accommodation, was there instead. We would definitely love to return if we find ourselves in Sri Lanka again.

These beautiful cottages come with all the comforts you need and are set in a quiet spot, yet the center of Sigiriya is just a short walk away. The owners are exceptionally kind, and each cottage features a lovely terrace. They are currently in the process of building more cottages, which means even more visitors will be able to experience this beautiful paradise.

This place was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They assisted us with everything we needed. The owner’s husband runs a safari ride that was a great experience for the price! Breakfast was delightful and made to fit our schedule, which was so accommodating. She even prepared breakfast for us when we had to leave early and made us a smoothie at 10 PM when we got thirsty—she couldn’t have been more helpful! We were allowed to check in right when we arrived. It was a beautiful, peaceful stay tucked away from the main road, and they even greeted us with a welcome drink! She also arranged for her friend, a tuk-tuk driver, to pick us up or drop us off at any time we needed. The main road is just a 5-minute walk away. I would definitely stay here again! It’s truly a lovely family-run place!

We had a serene and lovely stay during our first visit to Sri Lanka, spending two nights at this wonderful place. Everything was impeccably clean, and the bed was comfortable, plus there was a charming seating area out front for relaxation. The property is managed by a delightful family who were exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist with anything we required. A significant advantage is that they accept credit cards, which is rare in Sri Lanka where most places only take cash. This was particularly helpful since there are no ATMs nearby, with the closest one located in Dambulla. We arranged an elephant safari at Hurulu Park with Gayan through Enaya Cottage, and it was an unforgettable adventure - we spotted over 50 elephants, including a herd with a two-month-old baby. Later, during our trip, we did a safari in Yala, which was enjoyable too, but we barely saw any elephants, so we definitely recommend Gayan’s safari - it was worth every cent. The food at Enaya Cottage was tasty. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast that was freshly prepared with a nice variety of options. They also organized a tuk tuk for us with Imish, who was extremely helpful throughout our stay, taking us to various places and even dropping us off in Dambulla for our next bus, waiting to ensure we boarded the right one. They also advised us to avoid walking around at night because of elephants in the area and suggested using tuk tuks instead. Sigiriya can get very hot with few options to cool off, so if you're seeking relaxation, consider getting a day pass at Hotel Sigiriya to use their pool - it’s just a five-minute tuk tuk ride and definitely worth it after climbing Lion’s Rock, so don’t let the lack of a pool here deter you. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and highly recommend making a reservation; you won’t regret it.
