This hotel in Sigiriya is a lovely place to stay. The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating. It's just a 20-30 minute walk to Lion Rock. We stayed in a room within the house, which was both clean and comfortable. The outdoor area by the river is perfect for relaxing in hammocks while watching the local wildlife, including birds, monkeys, peacocks, and squirrels. I highly recommend this spot!

We had a fantastic experience! The hospitality was outstanding! The owners, who are a family, took care of everything for us and were incredibly friendly. The tree house was both cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed falling asleep to the soothing sounds of nature, rain, and the river. They also prepared a delicious dinner for us upon request, and breakfast was very good as well. I highly recommend this place!

I had a really pleasant stay next to the river. The breakfast was excellent, and the family that owns the place are wonderful. It was refreshing to be just a short stroll from the main road, as it was very quiet!

This homestay is a real treasure. The family is incredibly welcoming and provides complimentary rides in the area. Our neighbors even received a lift to Kandy. The host arranged a massage for us and organized a safari to Minneriya National Park. The treehouse was tidy, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The natural surroundings are breathtaking. Just be cautious not to leave your belongings outside, as the monkeys might take them. We were even treated to a peacock walking right in front of us. It was an unforgettable experience.

We had an amazing stay here. The room was beautiful, and the surrounding areas were just as nice. The garden offers numerous spots to relax, and it's right by a river, which made it lovely and tranquil! Every morning, the owners prepared a wonderful breakfast along with fresh fruit juice. They were also eager to recommend places to visit, help us organize trips, and even arrange transportation. A fantastic place with wonderful people. I definitely recommend it!

Our experience here was fantastic. The place feels enchanting, with its wooden jungle cabins and the soothing sound of a small river nearby. However, the real treasures are the owners. Jami and his wife are incredibly kind and generous, always ready to assist with anything you need. Jami took it upon himself to arrange all our sightseeing and even drove us around—he was a thoughtful and excellent companion. We also thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast; the crepes with coconut and honey were simply delightful.

We spent three nights at SRV in early March, and it was the best place we visited during our three-week stay in Sri Lanka. Chaminda and his wife were delightful; they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Chaminda would join us in the evenings, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm about the area, which made our experience even more enjoyable.

Staying in the treehouse was an incredibly unique experience! It felt very genuine while still providing all the modern comforts you could want. I can't recall ever having a better night's sleep, particularly with the calming sound of the river nearby. Staying at the Sigiriya River Side Villa was a wonderful experience! This place is truly a hidden treasure. It's conveniently located just off the main road in Sigiriya, making it a serene and tranquil spot. Having breakfast right by the river was an added bonus. The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating; they offered us helpful suggestions, provided a scooter, and even arranged for us to extend our stay by another night. Overall, the rooms are well-maintained. Just be prepared to encounter some 'wildlife' both outside and inside, as nature has a way of making its presence known. Nevertheless, this is an affordable option with fantastic hosts, stunning surroundings, and everything you need to explore Sigiriya!
