The rooms have an old smell and could use a good cleaning. There's also no soundproofing, which is a downside. Additionally, the food options are quite limited and need enhancement. Overall, there's room for improvement.

The door to our room was malfunctioning, making it quite difficult to open. If you’re staying in a downstairs room, be prepared to hear quite a bit of noise from guests above you. Additionally, we didn’t receive fruit with our breakfast, despite it being listed on the menu, while other diners were served it.

As a local guide from Matale and a tourism company owner, I booked this hotel for two nights. During my stay, there were no other clients, which made the experience quite unique. The hotel itself is very nice, but the reception girl was quite disappointing. She didn't seem to know how to treat people and customers with respect, always appearing angry and indifferent towards us. Upon our arrival, we didn't receive a warm welcome, which was surprising and unfortunate. This was my first negative experience with a hotel. I hope the hotel owner takes note of this feedback. Your hotel has great potential, but the service needs improvement. On a positive note, the other staff were okay. Additionally, I tried to get the hotel owner's contact number for future business inquiries, as I wanted to negotiate better rates for my other bookings, but she refused to provide it. Thank you anyway for the stay.

We spent two days at Tepraas Sigiriya, and it was a truly delightful experience. The ambiance and service were spot on. A big thank you to Chef Ranga for the tasty meals; his wonderful hospitality really enhanced our stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Sigiriya. Thanks to the entire team for making our visit memorable!

I can’t really recommend this place. We spent one night in the apartment and decided to leave due to the unpleasant smell, lack of light, dampness, and outdated décor. Maybe the hotel rooms are better, as this could have just been an issue with the two-bedroom apartment. On a positive note, the service was outstanding, so I have no complaints there. It’s worth mentioning that there was some construction going on during our visit, so perhaps renovations are in the works!

This hotel in Sigiriya is quite delightful! 🌿 Nestled in lush, green surroundings, it’s an ideal spot for unwinding and appreciating nature. The staff, including the manager, were truly wonderful—always cheerful and eager to assist with our requests. However, the rooms feel a bit outdated and could benefit from some updates. Most crucially, enhancing the cleanliness would significantly improve the experience. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and thoroughly enjoyed the serene ambiance.

I highly recommend this place. We enjoyed our time in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature. The room was quite spacious, and the staff were always helpful, respectful, friendly, and professional. Breakfasts were excellent, especially the fresh fruits and good coffee. We received instructions through WhatsApp, and the WiFi worked perfectly.

The service here was fantastic. It's about a 15-minute drive to central Sigiriya, but it's a great place if you're planning to go on a safari tour.

The rooms were lovely and quite spacious. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. There’s a nicely sized swimming pool located in the center of the property. Overall, it’s a great value for your money. We were very pleased with our experience and definitely recommend this place to others.
