The booking process was chaotic, and we ended up being double-charged for the kids. The extra bed they provided was quite uncomfortable. Breakfast choices were limited, and there was some confusion regarding our meal plan that resulted in us being asked to leave. The pool area was enjoyable, but overall, I don't think it was worth the cost. I wouldn't recommend it.

What a fantastic place! We had a wonderful time during our two-night stay. Sumith, the owner, was incredibly helpful, and the staff was just as attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the fried pork. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

We had intended to stay at the Lion Kingdom Hotel, but it turned out to be quite a disappointing experience. The room was in bad shape and not well-maintained, with decor that felt outdated and uninviting.

This was hands down the worst hotel experience I've had. From the moment I got there, everything was a mess. The check-in took forever, was chaotic, and the staff seemed indifferent to the guests' needs. The room itself was in terrible condition. It was dirty, with stained sheets, a leaking bathroom, and a foul odor that made it hard to unwind. The air conditioning hardly functioned, and the furniture looked ancient and worn out. The restaurant was equally disappointing. The food was unappetizing, overpriced, and definitely not fresh. To make things worse, the restaurant staff were rude and unprofessional. The so-called "amenities" were laughable. The pool was filthy with murky water that raised safety concerns. The advertised Wi-Fi was nonexistent, and the whole establishment seemed neglected and poorly run. Adding to the frustration, the staff were outright rude and unhelpful. They disregarded complaints and acted like the issues didn’t matter. It’s clear that this hotel has no desire to give its guests a decent experience. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Lion Kingdom Sigiriya Hotel. There are far better options nearby that actually value their guests.

This place is really disappointing. The online pictures are misleading. The rooms are not clean, and the linens haven't been washed. Meals are served from a nearby restaurant, and the overall cleanliness is lacking. We received a very basic meal without dessert, despite paying for full board. I can't recommend this place as a holiday spot since there are many better options in Sigiriya that are cheaper.

Our time at Lion Kingdom Hotel was disappointing. Room Condition: The room was in poor shape, featuring stained sheets, mold in the bathroom, and an overall neglected look. Misleading Photos: The images on the website were misleading. The actual environment was outdated, dirty, and not well-kept. Customer Service: The manager's attitude was rude and dismissive when we voiced our concerns. He denied any form of compensation and offered no assistance when we requested to reach the owner. Cleanliness: Hygiene was a significant issue throughout the hotel, with visible dust and a dirty pool, which they only tended to after we complained. This hotel is neither family-friendly nor professional. I strongly recommend steering clear of this place.

Our planned stay at the Lion Kingdom Hotel turned out to be quite disappointing. Room Condition: The room was not well-kept, featuring artificial flowers, stained sheets, and an overall unclean atmosphere. The bathroom was also neglected, showing visible mold in the corners. Misleading Photos: The website images were totally misleading, making me feel tricked. What was promised as a clean, modern space ended up being outdated, dirty, and poorly maintained. Customer Service: The most frustrating aspect was the manager's unpleasant attitude. When I expressed my concerns, he was rude and dismissive. I requested at least half of our money back or some form of compensation, but he outright refused to issue a refund. Facilities: The pool was dirty, and they only began to clean it after we complained. Cleanliness: Overall cleanliness was lacking throughout the hotel, with dust and dirt present in multiple areas. I expected more empathy from the management, particularly since I was clearly dissatisfied with my stay. The manager declined to contact the owner and instead provided me with a Chinese mobile number, suggesting I reach out myself. 😂 Unfortunately, his rude demeanor left me with a very negative impression. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families and women, as it also has a bar.

I’m really concerned about this place. I took my guests here a couple of days ago for two nights, and I had recommended it to them. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible. The room was very dirty, and the management seemed inadequate. We even had little ants coming from the toilet, and the smell in the room was really bad. I just don’t understand how you can treat people this way. On a positive note, there was a nice guy in the restaurant, and the overall environment had potential. But as a local, I have to say, please don’t put people through this. If you can’t manage the hotel properly, maybe it’s time to close it. Thank you.

This hotel offers a one-of-a-kind experience with options like igloo-style rooms or tree houses. The accommodations are nicely furnished, and the bathrooms feature a free-standing tub along with a multifunction shower. While the rooms are quite cozy, they do feel a bit on the smaller side.

The atmosphere here is quite serene and tranquil. The staff members are exceptionally friendly. The service was flawless, and I enjoyed a wonderful time with my family.
